Abstract

Die Gefahr mangelhafter Hörgeräteversorgung von Schwerhörenden soll reduziert werden. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, den korrekten Sitz des Hörgeräts (1) oder der Hörgerätekomponente in einem Gehörgang zu ermitteln. Hierzu wird ein akustisches Messsignal in den Gehörgang abgegeben. Das im Gehörgang durch das Hörgerät oder die Hörgerätekomponente beeinflusste Messsignal wird aufgenommen und mit einem Referenzsignal verglichen. Aus dem Vergleich wird eine Information über den Sitz des Hörgeräts ermittelt. Diese Information wird mit einem Statusbericht (6) an eine externe Einheit (7) übermittelt. Somit kann insbesondere bei der Kinderversorgung eine objektive Information über den Sitz des Hörgeräts erhalten werden.
