Die Verbindungskörper sind Funktionsteile zur Herstellung der Verbindung mit den Trennelementen. Des Weiteren können bei Ausbildung der Trennwand beispielsweise als Falttrennwand oder Gleitfalttür beide Trennelemente bewegbar bzw. schwenkbar angeordnet sein. Das Scharnier 2 enthält ein erstes Scharnierteil 8 und ein zweites Scharnierteil 10, welche im Wesentlichen plattenförmig ausgebildet sind und an den Oberflächen der bevorzugt als rahmenlose Platten, insbesondere Glasplatten, ausgebildeten Trennelementen 4, 6 unter Vorspannung anliegen, wobei in vorteilhafter Weise zwischen den Scharnierteilen 8, 10 und den zugeordneten Trennelementen 4, 6 plattenförmige Zwischenlagen 12, 14 vorgesehen sind. Diese Zwischenlagen 12, 14 des Scharniersystems bestehen aus einem vergleichsweise weicheren Material, wie insbesondere Elastomer oder Kunststoff, um lokale Überbeanspruchungen auszugleichen. Zwischen den einander gegenüber liegenden vertikalen Längskanten 16, 18 der Trennelemente 4, 6 ist ein vorgegebener Spalt vorhanden, in welchem ein Dichtelement 20 angeordnet ist, welches einerseits an der Längskante 16 des ersten Trennelements 4 befestigt ist, insbesondere mittels die Längskante 16 umgreifender Klemmschenkel, und welches andererseits in der dargestellten Schließposition der Trennelemente 4, 6 an der gegenüber liegenden vertikalen Längskante 18 des zweiten Trennelements 6 dichtend anliegt. Die beiden Scharnierteile 8, 10 enthalten miteinander korrespondierende Scharnierkörper 22, 24, welche mittels eines Scharnierbolzens 26 miteinander gelenkig gekoppelt sind. Die Verbindungskörper 36 sind übereinstimmend ausgebildet und enthalten jeweils einen Zapfen 38, welcher in die zentrale Durchgangsbohrung 32 bzw. 34 des zugeordneten Scharnierteils 8 bzw. 10 eingreift. Die Verbindungskörper 36 und/oder Zapfen 38 enthalten jeweils eine Sackbohrung 40, insbesondere mit Innengewinde für ein von der anderen Seite des jeweiligen Trennelements 4, 6 her eingreifendes Verbindungselement 42, welches insbesondere als Schraube ausgebildet ist. Im Bereich der den Trennelementen 4, 6 zugewandten Innenseiten enthalten die Verbindungskörper 36 eine Ausnehmung 44, welche an die Kontur der im Wesentlichen plattenförmig ausgebildeten Scharnierteile 8, 12 angepasst ist, wobei der in der Ausnehmung 44 sich befindende Zapfen 38 in die korrespondierende zentrale Durchgangsbohrung 32 bzw. 34 zumindest teilweise eingreift. Die im Bereich der dem Trennelement 6 oder 4 zugewandten Innenseite des Verbindungskörpers 36 angeordnete Ausnehmung 44 enthält eine dem Scharnierkörper 24 bzw. 22 zugewandte Öffnung 45, durch welche das jeweilige Scharnierteil 8 bzw. 10 in die Ausnehmung 44 bzw. den Verbindungskörper 36 eingreift. Die Verbindungskörper 36 sind zum Einen Funktionsteile zum Festspannen der Scharnierteile 8 bzw. 10 auf den Oberflächen der Trennelemente 4 bzw. 6. Zum Anderen überdecken die Verbindungskörper 36 einen erheblichen Teil der Scharnierteile 8, 10 und sind als Abdeck- oder Dekoelemente ausgebildet. Das erfindungsgemäße Scharniersystem umfasst wenigstens zwei Typen von Verbindungskörpern, deren Design und/oder Form und/oder Oberflächengestaltung und/oder Abmessungen unterschiedlich vorgegeben sind. In zweckmäßiger Weise ist zwischen den Einsatzkörpern 60 und den Innenfläche 56, 58 jeweils eine Einlage 62 angeordnet. Claims (10)
- A hinge system for partition walls, in particular shower partition walls, comprising hinges (2) having two hinge parts (8, 10) with hinge bodies (22, 24) which are coupled to one another by means of a hinge bolt (6) in an articulated manner, and further comprising connecting elements (42) configured as screws for partition elements (4, 6), wherein at least two types of differently formed connecting bodies (36; 80 to 88) are provided and respectively one connecting body (36; 80 to 88), preferably of the same type, can be arranged in the area of the outer surface of the two hinge parts (8, 10) of the respective hinge, wherein the connecting bodies (36; 80 to 88) each have a contour adapted to the hinge parts (8, 10) in the area of their inner side and contain an inner hole (40) in which the connecting element (42) engages from the other side in such a manner that the hinge parts (8, 10) can be fixed under pre-stress with respect to the associated partition element (4, 6),
characterised in that the hole (40) in the connecting body (36, 80 to 88) is a blind hole having an internal thread and that the connecting bodies (36, 80 to 88) have a pin (38), which engages at least partially in a central through hole (32, 34) of the hinge parts (8, 10). - The hinge system according to claim 1, characterised in that the connecting bodies (36, 80 to 88) have a recess (44) in the area of their inner side (44), in which the hinge parts (8, 10) engage and/or which is adapted to the outer contour of the hinge parts (8, 10).
- The hinge system according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the connecting body (36, 80 to 88) is secured against twisting in relation to the hinge part (8, 10).
- The hinge system according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the connecting bodies (36, 80 to 88) have the pin (38) in the area of the recess (44).
- The hinge system according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the hinge parts (8, 10) have stop and/or aligning elements (72, 74, 76) which correspond with associated stop and/or aligning elements of the connecting bodies (36; 80 to 88), in particular the inner wall thereof and/or the pin (38) thereof.
- The hinge system according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the hinge body (22) of the first hinge part (8) and the hinge body (24) of the second hinge part (10) can be arranged in a recess (28) of the second partition element (6) and/or that a sealing element (20) which can be fastened on a vertical longitudinal edge of the first partition element (4) can be brought to abut in a sealing manner against the opposite vertical longitudinal edge (18) of the second partition element (6).
- The hinge system according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that an insertion body (60) is associated with the first hinge part (8) and the second hinge part (10), which after connection to the first or second partition element (4, 6) is arranged opposite the first or second hinge part (8; 10) in a through hole (48, 50) of the first partition element (4) or the second partition element (6), and that the connecting element (42) passes through the insertion body (60) and engages in the blind hole (40) of the associated connecting body (36).
- The hinge system according to claim 7, characterised in that the insertion body (60) has an outer surface adapted to the at least partially conically configured inner wall (52, 54) of the through hole (48, 50) of the partition element (4, 6) and/or that an insert (52) made of a comparatively soft material, in particular elastomer or plastic, is provided between the inner wall (52, 54) and the insertion body (60).
- The hinge system according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the recess (44) arranged in the area of the inner side of the connecting body (6) has an opening (45) through which the hinge part (8; 10) engages in the recess (44) and/or that in addition the connecting body (36) is configured to be closed in the area of its edge or circumference (47) and/or its outer surface (46).
- A hinge characterised in that it comprises the features of the hinge system according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein the hinge parts (8, 10) can each be firmly clamped by means of one of the connecting bodies (36; 80 to 88) in relation to the associated partition element (4, 6), preferably under a pre-definable pre-stress.
