Claims (9)

  1. A shower cubicle (1) having at least one partitioning wall (2), which has at least one glass plate, which is formed by a door (4) pivotable about a vertical axis (3), and/or by a sliding door (4) and/or by a stationary installed glass wall (5), at least one fitting (6), attached at the edge area of the glass plate, being provided as support for the glass plate formed by a door (4) and/or a glass wall (5), the glass plate, forming the door (4) and/or the stationary glass wall (5), having a cut-out (7) in its edge area and an opening (9) extending from the cut-out (7) towards the edge (8), which opening lead, on the one hand, to the edge (8) and on the other hand to the cut-out (7), the fitting (6) having two almost parallel plate-shaped members (10, 11), which fit into the cut-out (7) and engage at least partially therein and have a contact or a stop respectively at the glass plate, a distance being provided between the surfaces of the plate-shaped members (10, 11) facing each other, at least one fixing component (13) acting transversally with regard to the plate-shaped members (10, 11) being provided for connecting and clamping the plate-shaped members (10, 11) to each other and to the glass plate, a bearing element (14), which, at least in the area between the plate-shaped members (10, 11), has a pin-shaped or bolt-shaped form, being clamped between the plate-shaped members (10, 11) and, in its longitudinal extension, being continuously variable and adjustable, the bearing element (14), in its service position, projecting beyond the plate-shaped members (10, 11) and beyond the glass plate, through the opening (9) at the edge, and at least one of the plate-shaped members (10, 11), at its inner surface, having a groove-shaped recess (17) embracing the bearing element (14) at least partially, which recess extends through the centre of the plate-shaped member (11) approximately on a diameter, characterized in that the bearing element (14) has an inner longitudinal cavity and is formed as a bushing, into which, in the mounting position, fits a pin or a bolt (26) which constitutes a part of an axial bearing or of a wall fitting or of a carriage (18).
  2. A shower cubicle according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixing component is formed as a clamping screw (13), which with a head (15) holds the one plate-shaped member (10) and with its thread (16), directly or indirectly, the second plate-shaped member (11), such that by tightening the clamping screw (13) the two spaced-apart plate-shaped members (10, 11) are deformable in the direction that reduces their distance from each other.
  3. A shower cubicle according to one of the claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the two plate-shaped members (10, 11) forming the fitting (6) at least partially have a circular outer contour or have a circular outline, and in that the cut-out (7) in the glass plate, receiving said members, has a circular inner contour extending towards the opening (9) leading outwards, or to an opening slot, in relation to which the plate-shaped members (10, 11) are rotatable and adjustable when the fixing component (13) is loosened.
  4. A shower cubicle according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that both plate-shaped members of the fitting, respectively at the surfaces facing each other, have recesses (17) corresponding to each other for non-positively fastening the bearing element (14) which is clamped between them in the service position.
  5. A shower cubicle according to claim 1, characterized in that the projecting area of the in particular pin-shaped bearing element (14) is either deformed, for example bent over, enlarged, formed as a profiled flange or provided with a flange.
  6. A shower cubicle according to one of the claims 1 or 3, characterized in that the cut-out (7) receiving the fitting (6) in the service position, at least on one side of the glass plate, has a conical tapering towards the inside of the glass plate and the mating plate-shaped member (10, 11) in turn is formed as a counter-cone, for countersinking at least partially, preferably completely, this plate-shaped member flush with the surface of this glass plate.
  7. A shower cubicle according to claim 2, characterized in that one of the plate-shaped members is formed as projecting from the glass surface, for example as a spherical cap and includes the one or more female threads for the clamping screw(s) (13).

A shower cubicle according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a closing member (24) is insertable into the opening area or the opening slot (9) at the edge area and embraces the bearing element (14) which extends therethrough and can be placed onto the bearing element (14) for example.
