Claims (31)

  1. Outflow element (1, 1') for a sanitary fitting (17) having a connecting part (2) which can be releasably attached to the sanitary fitting (17) on the outflow side, and having an outflow part (3) which has a fluid outlet (4) forming the outflow of the fitting, while into said fluid outlet (4) a sanitary functional unit can be inserted, the connecting part (2) and the outflow part (3) being connected to one another by a hinged and/or rotatable joint, characterised in that the sanitary functional unit is constructed as an insertable cartridge (6) which can be inserted from the side of the opening into the fluid outlet (4) and is releasably held therein, and in that the fluid outlet (4) of the outlet part (3) is matched in its internal cross-section to the insertable cartridge (6).
  2. Outflow element according to claim 1, characterised in that the connecting part (2) has an external thread (13) which can be screwed into an internal thread in the sanitary fitting (17).
  3. Outflow element according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the annular zone in the connecting region between the connecting part (2) and sanitary fitting (17) is radially sealed off by means of at least one annular seal (14).
  4. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) comprises at least one flow regulator.
  5. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the outflow part (3) has a round or angular, particularly rectangular outer periphery.
  6. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that outflow part (3) and the connecting part (2) are joined together by means of a ball joint (5) to form a hinged and particularly rotatable and pivotable connection.
  7. Outflow element according to claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) is arranged with at least the majority of its longitudinal extent, preferably entirely with all its longitudinal extent in the fluid outlet (4).
  8. Outflow element according to claim 1 or 7, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) is held by means of a preferably sleeve-shaped intermediate holder (6) in the fluid outlet (4).
  9. Outlet element according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the intermediate holder which can be inserted in the outflow of the fitting from the opening side is held releasably or non-releasably in the fluid outlet (4).
  10. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) or the intermediate holder (6) can be inserted in the fluid outlet (4) as far as an insertion stop.
  11. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the intermediately holder is held in the fluid outlet by means of an adhesive, clamping, latching and/or screw connection and/or by pressing, claw fastening or keying.
  12. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the intermediate holder (6) is preferably circumferentially sealed off from the inner circumferential wall of the fluid outlet (4),
  13. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) is held in the fluid outlet (4) or in the intermediate holder by means of a clamping, latching or screw connection.
  14. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) is sealed off from the intermediate holder or the inner circumferential wall of the fluid outlet (4).
  15. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that at least one annular seal (9), preferably at least one O-ring, is provided to form a seal between the insertable cartridge (6) or intermediate holder, on the one hand, and the fluid outlet (4), on the other hand.
  16. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) or the intermediate holder carries an external thread (7) which can be screwed into an internal thread (8) in the fluid outlet (4), and in that the external thread (8) and the internal thread (7) are of such dimensions and arranged such that the thread (7, 8) during the screwing in of the insertable cartridge (6) or of the intermediate holder grip one anther in a relative position of the fluid outlet (4) on the one hand and the insertable cartridge (6) or intermediate holder (6) on the other hand, in which the O-ring or similar annular seal (9) provided on the outer periphery of the insertable cartridge or on the intermediate holder has not yet come into frictional engagement with the fluid outlet (4).
  17. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) comprises a multi-part cartridge housing and in that a clamping, latching and/or screw connection (7) is provided on a housing part of the cartridge housing which is preferably arranged on the outflow side, for securing the cartridge housing in the fluid outlet (4).
  18. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the cartridge housing of the insertable cartridge (6) and/or the intermediate holder have a contoured outer periphery and/or a contoured end-face on the outflow side, which are constructed as tool engagement surfaces for an insertion tool.
  19. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 18, characterised in that the outflow end-face of the cartridge housing of each insertable cartridge (6) and/or each intermediate holder has a contouring formed from projections (10) and depressions (11) provided on the end-face edges, such that the depressions (11) of an insertable cartridge (6) held in the sanitary fitting (17) and/or of an intermediate holder serve as a tool engagement surface for the projections (10) of another cartridge housing or another intermediate holder which can be used as the insertion tool.
  20. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 19, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) and/or the intermediate holder is connected in one piece with at least one encircling seal (30) provided between the insertable cartridge (6) or intermediate holder, on the one hand, and the outflow part (3) on the other hand.
  21. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 20, characterised in that the end-face edge region, on the inflow side, of the insertable cartridge (6) and/or of the intermediate holder is constructed as a sealing profile.
  22. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 21, characterised in that the sealing profile has at least one flat seal and/or lip seal.
  23. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 22, characterised in that the insertable cartridge (6) and/or the intermediate holder comprises, on the inflow side, an insertion stop which in the position of use limits deformation of the sealing profile.
  24. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 23, characterised in that the sealing profile has at least one seal with a sealing profile base which is constructed as an insertion stop.
  25. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 24, characterised in that the sealing profile and optionally its insertion stoop cooperate with a mating stop on the inner circumference of the outflow part 3, that delimits the internal cross-section.
  26. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 25, characterised in that the insertion stop is arranged adjacent to the sealing profile in the radial direction.
  27. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 26, characterised in that the sealing profile has at least one profile annularly encircling sealing lip.

  29. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 28, characterised in that the sealing lips have different heights.

  31. Outflow element according to one of claims 1 to 30, characterised in that the seal and the component of the insertable cartridge and/or intermediate holder which is connected in one piece with the seal are made from the same material.
