Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hochdruckentladungslampe mit einem zwei gegenüberliegende Enden aufweisenden, durch einen Hüllkörper (1) aus einem Glas begrenzten Gasraum, wobei an den Enden jeweils eine in den Gasraum ragende Elektrode als Anode (3) und Kathode (4) im Gasraum angeordnet ist, wobei zwischen den Elektroden ein Entladungsraum gebildet ist, und besteht darin, dass die beiden Endbereiche des Gasraums mindestens außerhalb des Entladungsraums unterschiedlich ausgebildet sind.The invention relates to a high-pressure discharge lamp having a two opposite ends, by an enveloping body (1) of a glass limited gas space, wherein at the ends of each projecting into the gas space electrode as the anode (3) and cathode (4) is arranged in the gas space, wherein a discharge space is formed between the electrodes, and is that the two end portions of the gas space are formed differently at least outside the discharge space.
