Claims (3)

  1. Electrical installation device, in particular a circuit breaker or motor circuit breaker having a housing with connecting means (2, 3) for connection to bus bars and/or connecting lines to at least one end face, having at least one switching contact with a stationary switching contact piece (4) and a moving switching contact piece (6), between which an arc (13) is struck in an arc chute area (7) on disconnection, which arc runs via arc guide rails (14, 16) to a current-limiting arc quenching device (12), wherein chute plates (8) from the are arranged in the area of the arc chute area (7) and form reverse-flow channels between the housing wall and the chute plates (8) from the arc quenching device (12) to the arc chute area (7), characterized in that at least one slot (21) is provided in the chute plates (8) and runs transversally with respect to the imaginary connection between the arc guide rails (14, 16).
  2. Electrical installation device according to Claim 1, characterized in that a plurality of slots (20, 21, 22, 25, 26) are arranged in an overlapping manner.
  3. Electrical installation device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a web (23, 24) is formed between a slot (20, 22) and an edge area.
