Abstract
A closure provided with a container for repeated closing of bottles, plastic bottles and the like, said container containing a prefabricated contents, e.g. an ingredient in the form of a powder, tablet or even liquid and paste. The closure of the invention consists of a part (1) intended to be positioned on a neck (7) of a vessel (4) and of a container (8) containing an ingredient in the form of a powder or granule intended to be introduced into the vessel (4), preferably directly before use and is prefabricated and contained in the container (8) and tighthly and hygienically acceptably closed by a closure (14), whereby the part (1) is provided with an internal thread (2) engaging with a thread (3) of an optional vessel (4), e.g. bottle, plastic bottle etc. and with a sealing seat (5) bearing on an edge (6) of a neck (7) of the vessel (4) and also seals when the closure (1) is screwed onto the neck (7). The container (8) is designed as a vessel partly introduced in the part (1) so that they are mutually connected with a thread (9), a one-way clutch (10) and a sealing element (11), whereby after the first screwing-in of the container (8) into the part (1) said one-way clutch (10) prevents mutual unscrewing and only manual removal of the sealing element (11) enables a unique mutual screwing of the part (1) and the container (8) in a way that when the container (8) is screwed into the part (1), the edge (15) of the container intended to break the closure (12) and preferably slanted, breakes the closure (14), preferably almost over its entire area in order for the content of the container (8) to pour into the vessel (4), whereby the closure (14) remains connected with the container (8).
Description
CLOSURE PROVIDED WITH A CONTAINER FOR REPEATED CLOSING OF BOTTLES, PLASTIC BOTTLES AND OTHER VESSELS
Subject of Invention
The subject of the invention is a closure provided with a container for repeated closing of bottles, plastic bottles and the like, preferably bottles and plastic bottles, where one liquid or powdered component or a tablet is presumably introduced into the basic liquid in a bottle or plastic bottle or a similar container directly before use.
Technical Problem
The technical problem solved by the invention is how to conceive such closure provided with a container for repeated closing of bottles, plastic bottles and other vessels, where the container can contain a prefabricated tightly closed ingredient e.g. powder, tablet, liquid or even a paste substance, whereby after the first opening of a vessel, when the membrane between the closure and the interior of the vessel is broken so that the ingredients from the container pour into the vessel, can be repeatedly closed with the closure of the invention without a need to first remove parts of the closure or container separately also from the neck of the vessel.
Prior Art
Three European patent applications EP 0 093 090, EP 0 338 349 and EP 0 356 758 are known (all three of the applicant Capsulit S.P.A), the closure of which is characterized in that after the removal of the sealing ring the punching element is pushed axially, whereby said element cuts the bottom of the container and folds it, thus allowing the content of the container to pour into the bottle. Repeated tight closing is no longer possible.
Solution to the Technical Problem
The described technical problem is solved by the closure of the invention, the substantial characteristic of which lies in that it consists of two parts screwed in each other, of which one part is simultaneously also provided with a thread allowing repeated tight screwing of a closure to the vessel. When one part is screwed into another, the bottom of the container is broken to allow the content of the container to pour into the vessel, whereby such mutual connection of both parts is foreseen that both parts cannot unscrew after having been screwed one against the other. Once the container is screwed for the first time in order to open the container, the entire closure can be screwed in or our by rotating any part optionally often. Both parts are also provided with sealing rings, one ring protecting against undesired or inadvertent pouring of the content of the container into the bottle, the other ring being indicative of the bottle not yet opened.
In order that the present invention be more readily understood, an embodiment thereof will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:
Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a closure according to the first embodiment, and Fig. 2 shows a cross section of a closure according to the second embodiment.
A closure provided with a container for repeated closing of bottles, plastic bottles and the like consists of a part 1 with an internal thread 2 engaging with a thread 3 of an optional vessel 4, e.g. bottle, plastic bottle etc. and with a sealing seat 5 bearing on an edge 6 of a neck 7 of the vessel 4, said seat sealing the opening when the closure 1 is in screwed position.
On the tubular part 1 there is a container 8 containing an ingredient in the form of a powder or granule intended to be introduced in the substance inside the vessel 4, preferably directly before use. The container 8 is designed as a vessel partly introduced in the tubular part 1 so that according to the first embodiment they are mutually connected with a thread 9 and a one-way clutch 10, preferably in the shape of saw teeth, which, after the first screwing of the container 8 into the part 1, disables mutual unscrewing, whereby mutual screwing-in is only possible after a sealing element 11 is manually removed, said element holding the part 1 and the container 8 in mutually unscrewed state. The sealing element 11 is preferably designed in a known way as a ring with a retaining tab 12 and with bridges 13 connecting the part 1 and the container 8.
The screws 2 and 9 are preferably rotatable in counter directions, the first to the right, the second to the left. By unscrewing the closure as a whole without special intention to remove the sealing element 11, a user normally performs both operations by unscrewing to the ordinary left direction, namely opening of the container and unscrewing of the closure from the neck of a bottle or plastic bottle.
The sealing seat 5 of the part 1 is simultaneously also the leaning element for tight positioning of a closure 14 of the container 8 after the contents have been filled in. The closure 14 is preferably made of a foil and is broken when the container 8 is screwed into the tubular part 1 after the sealing element 1 has been manually removed. An edge 15 of the container 8 intended to punch through the closure 12 is preferably slanted, so that the punching starts with points and then punching continues by screwing in over the entire area. There only remains an uninterrupted stripe preventing the closure to fall into the vessel 4.
According to the second embodiment the connection of the basic part 1 and the closure 8 is implemented by axial guides 16 and the sealing element 11 as in the first embodiment. After the element 11 is removed, the closure is pushed towards the vessel 4, whereby the internal edge 15 punches the closure 14 thus allowing the content of the container 8 to pour into the vessel 4.
Both embodiments include another sealing element 17, which is preferably implemented in the same way as said sealing element 11 and which connects the basic part 1 and the opening 7 of the vessel 4 in order to ascertain the first opening of the vessel.
In both embodiments a washer of any known type can be arranged between the part 1 and the container 8 if an ingredient in the container 8 must be separated from the surrounding atmosphere and/or if an ingredient is a liquid or powder.
It is understandable that a man skilled in the art can design other embodiments based on the above description without circumventing the characteristics of the invention defined in the attached patent claims.
