Description

The invention relates to a dishwasher with a drying device for drying items to be washed.

In a dishwasher, one or more rinsing operations using rinsing liquid are usually carried out in the course of the rinsing operation in order to clean the items to be washed located in the dishwasher. To increase the cleaning effect, the rinsing liquid is heated before or during a rinsing process by means of electric heaters. After the last rinsing process usually takes place a rinse phase, followed by a drying process followed to dry the items to be washed. For drying items to be washed in a dishwasher different methods are known.

The items to be washed can be dried, for example by self-heating, after the rinsing process, by heating the rinsing liquid for rinsing and thus drying the rinsing product which has been rinsed with clear heat by the self-heating of the items so constructed during the drying process. To achieve this self-heating, the rinse liquid z. B. heated in a water heater to a certain temperature and applied over the existing in the dishwasher sprayers on the items to be washed. Due to the relatively high temperature of the final rinse liquid of usually from 65 ° C to 70 ° C is achieved that a sufficiently large amount of heat is transferred to the items to be washed, so that the water adhering to the items evaporated by the heat stored in the items to be washed.

A disadvantage of the above-described methods for heating or drying of items to be washed in the dishwashing machines according to the prior art is that the heating of the washing liquid is associated with a high energy requirement and the required heat energy for each heating phase must be regenerated by means of electrical heating elements , Likewise, the known methods have the disadvantage that the heating of the final rinse liquid and the drying processes themselves are associated with a high energy requirement and the required heat energy is lost after the drying process.

In order to direct the humid air mixture in the rinsing tank out of the rinsing tank as quickly as possible in order to accelerate the drying phase, it is furthermore known in the state of the art to convey the moist air mixture from the rinsing tank into the outside atmosphere by means of suitable blowers. As a disadvantage of this Drying equipment has been found that the humid air mixture lead to mold in the rooms or can be perceived by the user as disturbing.

In a further drying device of the prior art outside air is passed into the washing, and thus improves the drying performance. In this known drying device is felt to be disadvantageous that the introduction of outside air from a hygienic point of view is not suitable and the supply of outside air is always accompanied by a partial escape of the air in the washing container, which brings the above-mentioned disadvantages.

For example, at the JP 09 24 82 70 A conveyed in the drying step by means of a blower outside air via a rotating spray arm into the interior of the washing.

For example, in the dishwasher of DE 100 22 088 A1 is a filled with cold fresh water and / or with used Regenerier- and Durchspülwasser the device's water softening reservoir as a heat exchanger and the process air from the washing container when drying in a closed circuit leading air flow channel provided with a circulating air blower. The reservoir as a cold reservoir in cooperation with the air flow channel as air / water heat exchanger is outside of the washing in the device housing of the dishwasher, but thermally insulated from the Spülbehälterwand arranged at a distance.

The object of the present invention is to provide a drying device with which it is possible, from an economic and hygienic point of view, to quickly dry the moist items to be washed located in the washing container.

This object is achieved by the dishwasher according to the invention having the features according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the present invention are characterized in the subclaims 2 to 13.

The dishwashing machine according to the invention comprises at least one rinsing container for receiving items to be cleaned, at least one spraying device for applying the rinsing liquid to be cleaned in the interior of the rinsing container and a drying device for drying the items to be washed, wherein an air stream for drying the items to be washed is removed from the drying item. device is introduced via the sprayer in the washing.

An advantage of the introduction of the air flow for drying the items to be washed by the drying device via the spraying device into the washing container is that the spraying devices are generally arranged in the immediate vicinity of the items to be washed and thereby the air flow exiting the spray device for drying the items to be washed as directly as possible comes into contact with the items to be washed. Furthermore, a more uniform distribution of the hot air within the washing container is achieved by the drying device according to the invention than was possible with previously known drying devices. Both the uniform distribution of hot air and the direct contact of the air flow with the items to be washed lead to a higher drying performance and thus to a lower energy consumption when carrying out the drying process.

In the dishwasher according to the invention, only the air in the washing container is circulated by the drying device. For this purpose, the drying device according to the invention is arranged inside the dishwasher and circulates the air in the washing, preferably by means of a blower. In the dishwasher according to the invention there is a closed air circuit, whereby the advantage is achieved that no moisture-laden air is released to the ambient atmosphere. In this way deleterious effects on the furniture, e.g. Mold formation is avoided and the items to be washed do not come into contact with outside air during the drying process, so that a high hygienic standard can be guaranteed.

In a preferred embodiment of the dishwashing machine according to the invention, the drying device is provided with at least one heating device, e.g. a hot air blower equipped with the aid of which the air circulated in the washing container is heated. It is particularly advantageous if the heating device heats the air passing by, preferably immediately before it is introduced into the spray device. This allows the air to be heated prior to re-entry into the purge vessel to provide the air with a greater capacity to absorb moisture, which accelerates the drying process. After the air has absorbed the moisture from the items to be washed, it is conveyed via the blower through the suction port back into the drying device. When flowing through the condensation section of the air is removed from the moisture, when passing the heater, the air is heated and introduced via the sprayer back into the washing, whereby the air circuit is closed.

During the drying process, the warm air rises naturally in the washing from bottom to top, it absorbs moisture from the dishes, z. B. deflected to the container ceiling to the outer walls and then sinks back into the lower portion of the washing. In a further preferred embodiment of the dishwashing machine according to the invention, the air flow for drying the washware from the drying device is therefore via a spray arm in the lower Area of the washing introduced. As a result, the air flow is introduced not only in the lower area in the washing, but also in close proximity to the larger pieces of crockery, which usually store in the lower basket of the dishwasher. The spray arms are often rotatably mounted and provided with outlet nozzles for the rinsing liquid, which are each aligned in a certain direction, so that the exiting through the outlet nozzle rinsing fluid accelerates the spray arm in a particular direction of rotation. The air flow can be passed through the spray arm with the aid of the blower at such a flow rate that the accelerating effect of the spray nozzles arranged at an angle also causes the spray arm to rotate due to the exit of the drying air, which results in a particularly good distribution of the drying air in the washing container Has.

It has been found that the drying air emerging from a spray arm in the lower region of the washing container rises substantially in the middle of the washing container and then falls down again on the sides of the washing container. This circulation of the drying air in the washing container is utilized in the dishwasher according to the invention, in that at least one wall of the washing container acts as a condensation surface, at which moisture contained in the air is precipitated. As a result, the liquid can evaporate more quickly on the items to be washed during the drying process and be transported away by the relatively dry air flow. The drying process is thereby accelerated.

-The condensation of the humidity on the inner wall of the washing can still be supported if at least one wall of the washing is in heat-conductive contact with an outer wall of the dishwasher. In this embodiment of the present invention, the effect is exploited that the standing in the heat-conductive contact with an outer wall of the dishwasher wall of the washing container has a lower temperature than the air in the washing, thereby constantly cooled and thus acts as a condensation surface. Since the outer walls of the dishwasher generally consist of a metal housing, the housing of the dishwasher is particularly well suited as a cooling surface. In this way, a good heat dissipation from the wall of the washing container to an outer wall of the dishwasher and the environment is ensured. -

For cooling a wall of the washing container acting as a condensation surface, it can also be in heat-conducting contact with a heat exchanger of the dishwasher. By filling the heat exchanger during the drying process with cool fresh water from the house water line this has a cooling potential. About the heat-conducting connection between the heat exchanger and the acting as a condensation surface wall of the washing compartment, the heat exchanger absorbs the resulting heat of condensation and keeps the wall of the washing container cool, with the water in the heat exchanger slowly heated. This preheated water can then be used for a subsequent rinsing process. In addition to the advantages of saving energy, which is required for the heating of rinsing liquid, in this embodiment of the present invention, for example, caused by fresh water supply temperature fluctuations of the rinsing liquid is reduced, thus reducing the risk of hairline cracks, for example, ceramic crockery or earthenware.

In yet another preferred embodiment of the dishwasher according to the invention, the drying device comprises at least one suction opening for sucking the air from the washing container into the drying device, a blow-out opening for discharging the air from the drying device into the spraying device, a transport path between the on -saugöffnung and the blow-out opening and a fan for conveying the air from the suction port through the transport path to the exhaust opening, wherein a wall of the transport path acts at least partially as a condensation surface on which precipitates moisture contained in the air. As a result, moisture is already removed from the drying air by condensation within the drying device and the drying performance is improved. In this case, the drying device expediently has a discharge, through which at least the water precipitated in the transport path is discharged. For this purpose, the precipitated in the transport path of the drying device water can be passed, for example, in the sump of the dishwasher or transported through the drain pump from the dishwasher.

The condensation effect of the drying device is increased even further when the suction opening of the drying device opens into the upper region of the rinsing container and the blow-out opening of the drying device opens into the lower region of the rinsing container. Since the moist, warm air is in the upper region of the rinsing container, the arrangement of the suction opening in the upper region of the rinsing container ensures that the air is conveyed from the upper region of the rinsing container into the drying device, where the highest humidity is present. Due to the arrangement of the exhaust opening in the lower region of the washing container, the above-described circulation movement of the air through the washing container and the drying device is favored.

Advantageously, the blower, the heater and / or the heat exchanger with the program control of the dishwasher is connected so that, accordingly, the running program, the operation of the fan, the heating device and / or the heat exchanger is regulated.

In a further embodiment, the air stream for drying the items to be washed is introduced from the drying device via spraying devices, such as spray straw, into the washing compartment in the lower region of the washing container.

  • Figur 1 eine schematische Schnittdarstellung durch eine Geschirrspülmaschine in einer ersten bevorzugten Ausführungsform gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung;
In the following, the present invention is explained in more detail by means of preferred embodiment examples with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it:
  • FIG. 1 a schematic sectional view of a dishwasher in a first preferred embodiment according to the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 a sectional view through a drying device for a dishwasher in a second preferred embodiment according to the present invention.

In the FIG. 1 shown embodiment of a dishwasher G according to the invention comprises a washing container 1 for receiving items to be cleaned, which is surrounded by the housing 3 of the dishwasher G. In the washing container 1, an upper spray arm 5 and a lower spray arm 4 are rotatably arranged, via which the items to be washed aufschlagt during flushing with rinsing liquid. During the drying process, the air in the washing container is circulated via a drying device (not shown), wherein the air is sucked out of the washing container by means of a blower, heated in the drying device and returned to the washing container as drying air via the spraying device 4, 5 1 is initiated.

At the in FIG. 1 shown embodiment of the dishwasher G according to the invention, the drying air is introduced only via the lower spray arm 4 from the drying device in the washing compartment 1. The drying air emerging from the lower spray arm 4 in the lower region of the washing container 1 rises substantially in the middle of the washing container 1, takes up moisture from the items to be washed and then sinks down again on the sides of the washing container 1. In this way, an essentially symmetrical circulation of the drying air in the washing compartment 1 takes place with respect to the axis A which is shown in dash-dotted lines in FIG. This circulation of the drying air is used to increase the drying performance by at least one wall 2 of the washing container 1 acts as a condensation surface, at which the moisture contained in the drying air precipitates. As a result, the existing in the washing container 1 humidity is reduced and accelerates the drying process during the drying process.

The wall 2 of the washing container 1 is in heat-conducting contact with an outer wall 3 of the dishwasher G, which is preferably made of metal. The wall 2 of the Washing container 1 is constantly cooled by the outer wall 3 of the dishwasher G, thereby has a lower temperature than the air in the washing container 1 and can thus act as a condensation surface. Alternatively, for cooling the wall 2 acting as a condensation surface of the washing container 1, this may also be in heat-conducting contact with a heat exchanger (not shown) of the dishwasher G, wherein the heat exchanger is preferably filled with cool water during the drying process. Usually, the heat exchanger is housed in the side wall of the dishwasher G, so that a heat-conducting contact between the wall 2 of the washing container 1 and the heat exchanger is easy to produce. By filling the heat exchanger during the drying process with cool fresh water from the domestic water pipe, this then has a cooling potential, which it emits via the heat-conductive connection between the heat exchanger and acting as a condensation surface wall 2 of the washing container 1, wherein the water in the heat exchanger is slowly heated ,

In FIG. 2 shows a sectional view through a drying device for a dishwasher in a second preferred embodiment according to the present invention. The drying device comprises a suction opening 10 for sucking air from the washing container 1 into the drying device and blow-out opening 9 for blowing out the drying air into the spraying device 4, 5 and thus into the washing container 1. Between the suction opening 10 and the blow-out opening 9, a blower 7 is provided for conveying the air from the suction port through a transport path 11 to the exhaust port 9. In its flow path through the transport path 11, the air passes through an electric heater 8, whereby the air is heated and thus obtains a higher capacity for absorbing moisture.

A wall of the transport section 11 acts at least partially as Kondensati onsfläche, reflected in the moisture contained in the air. The drying device further has a discharge line 12 through which the water deposited in the transport section 11 is discharged. As a result, moisture is already extracted from the drying air by condensation within the drying device and the drying performance is improved.

Both the fan 7 and the heating device 8 are connected to the program control (not shown) of the dishwasher G so that the operation of the fan and the heating device is controlled in accordance with the running program. During the drying phase, the blower 2 connected to a control unit (not shown) is activated and sucks in moist air through the suction opening 10 the washing compartment 1 at. In the further flow path of the moist air through the transport path 11, the moisture can be at least partially reflected and derived via the discharge line 12 from the drying device. By the heater 7, the air is heated and thus is able to absorb a larger amount of moisture. Through the outlet opening 9, the now heated and dehumidified drying air via the spray device 4, 5, preferably via the lower spray arm 4, again introduced into the washing compartment 1 and can circulate there to dry the wet items in the manner described above.

The targeted circulation of the air through the washing container 1 via the spraying device 4, 5 and the removal of the humidity is achieved in the dishwasher G according to the present invention, both a homogeneous heat distribution within the drying air and a uniform flow through the washing container 1 , which has a higher efficiency and thus better energy utilization for the operation of the dishwasher G result.
