Description

The present invention relates to a contact lever assembly for a low-voltage circuit breaker according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a contact lever assembly is known from EP 07 27 805 A2.

Dieser Abstandshalter wird mit seitlichen Wangen auf den Lagerbolzen der Kontakthebel aufgesteckt.EP 07 27 805 A2 discloses a contact lever assembly of a low-voltage circuit breaker with parallel contact levers which are pivotally mounted on a support made of insulating material. A mutual distance between the contact levers is maintained by a spacer, which is made as a separate part of a plastic. This spacer is attached with lateral cheeks on the bearing pin of the contact lever.

A spacer, which is completely attached to the bearing pin is known for example from DE 100 48 660 A1. In DE 101 32 127 C1 and DE 101 48 947 C1 each spacers are described which are round and are directly part of the contact lever.

Although serve in EP 07 27 805 A2, the lateral cheeks to keep the bolt stable. At the high currents that prevail in a low-voltage circuit breaker, however, act on such a bolt very high forces, which in principle can lead to bending of such a bolt. It is an object of the invention to further prevent bending of a bolt.

The object of the invention is achieved in that a spacer with two engaging between the contact lever for maintaining the mutual distance dividers with, according to the invention, two separating webs is pivotally mounted on the bearing pin. Both dividers can have a hole for this purpose. By the pivotal mounting, it is possible not only to use the dividers as spacers between the contact levers, but also to maintain a distance between the bearing pin and contact carrier.

In a preferred embodiment, the dividers extend to the contact carrier and are applied thereto or have a low clearance. For this purpose, in a preferred embodiment, you may have a to the contact carrier towards pointing rounded area, with which it can be supported during pivoting on the contact carrier, ie with which it rolls to a certain extent on the contact carrier. As a result, the bearing pin is protected from deformations under current forces. In the basic position of the spacer is pivoted so that it is held as possible on the contact carrier and thereby acts as a component, which permanently creates a distance between the contact carrier and bearing pin and thus protects the bearing bolt against deforming approach to the contact carrier. The generic contact lever assembly is, as is common in the prior art, designed so that each contact lever is electrically connected to flexible conductors, which are also arranged at a mutual distance to each other, quasi in extension of the contact lever. In a preferred embodiment of the spacer according to the invention, the separating webs are long enough wegstehend of the bearing pin to (between the distances of the flexible conductor also to be able to intervene, sa that at high Current load the flexible conductors can not be bent towards each other.

In the prior art, many contact levers have tab-like projections on the side. To use such contact lever, each divider can have a recess for guiding such located on the contact levers pin-like projection.

The spacers are preferably made of metal and bent from a sheet or particularly preferably die-cast aluminum.

The spacers may each have more than two dividers, depending on the number of gaps. In a preferred embodiment, however, a plurality of spacers is used, each with two separating webs, which can be placed on the bearing pin, so to speak, side by side. Thus, by providing a spacer of a single size, the same spacer can be used with low-voltage circuit breakers of various sizes, i. H. in such low-voltage circuit breakers, which have a different number of contact levers.

FIG 1
FIG 2
FIG 3
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the drawing, in which:
FIG. 1
shows a cross section through a low-voltage circuit breaker with a contact lever assembly and the spacer according to the invention,
FIG. 2
shows the spacer according to the invention in a perspective individual representation,
FIG. 3
an alternative embodiment of the spacer according to the invention in top view shows.

In the sectional view of FIG 1, a contact carrier 10 and a contact lever 12 can be seen. The contact lever 12 is pivotally mounted on a bearing pin 14. Longest of the bearing pin 14 are a plurality of contact levers 12, the mutual distance is maintained by a spacer 16. The spacer 16 is shown in FIG 2 in a perspective view. The spacer 16 is made of metal and has a back plate 18. From the back plate 18 are perpendicular two dividers 20 away. It can also be provided more such dividers 20, which then protrude as a comb. The separating webs 20 have in their upper region a bore or cut-out 22 for receiving the bearing pin 14. Directly below this bore 22 is a recess 24, with which a slug-like projection 26, which is located laterally on the contact levers 12, can be guided. Above the recess 24, as seen in FIG. 1, on the side facing the contact carrier 10, each separating web 20 has a rounded region, ie a rounded edge 28. As can be seen in FIG. 1, the spacer 16 bears directly against the contact carrier 10 with this edge 28. As a result, the spacer 16 not only prevents the separating webs 20 from contacting different contact carriers 12 in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the paper in FIG. 1, but also prevents deformation of the bearing bolt 14 in the plane of the paper from FIG. 1 towards the contact carrier 10 towards a purely mechanical Way. By rounding off the edge 28, the spacer 16 can be pivoted to the beginning in a position in which it is clamped to some extent, so that the bearing pin 14 is supported particularly stable against the contact carrier 10.

As in the prior art, the contact levers 12 are connected at the lower portion of the low-voltage circuit breaker with flexible conductors 30. Since each contact lever 12 is connected to these flexible conductors 30, the flexible conductors 30 are at a mutual distance from each other. In a preferred embodiment of the invention shown here, the partitions 20 are below the bearing pin 14 and below the dome-like projection 26, d. H. below the bore 22 and the recess 24 are still formed so long that they protrude into the gaps between the flexible conductors 30 and prevent Aufeinanderzubiegen the flexible conductor 30 and the ends of the contact lever perpendicular to the paper plane in Figure 1.

The spacers 16 may each surround one, two or more contact levers. In low-voltage circuit breakers with a plurality of contact levers 12 are preferably a plurality of spacers 16 to be arranged side by side. Instead, spacers 16 with a plurality of webs 20 may also be used. Instead, spacers 16 with a plurality of webs 20 may also be used. 3 shows a plan view of such a spacer, in which a plurality of webs 31 project perpendicularly from a back plate 33 and overall show a comb-like shape. It is important that the webs laterally have the same shape as shown in FIG. 2, that is, have a bore 22 for the bolt, a rounded edge 28 and a region extending longitudinally below this bore.

To prevent arc flashovers, as in the prior art, a so-called Schippe 32 shown in FIG 2 is provided, which prevents the arcs propagate down to the bottom. By the length of the spacer 16 down between the flexible conductor 30, the bulk of the spacer 16 is below this Schippe 32 and thus far away from arc flashovers located at height or just below the bearing pin.
