Abstract

Le boîtier (12) de cette vanne (10) délimite intérieurement une chambre (14) dans laquelle débouchent une première entrée (20) de fluide présentant une première température, une seconde entrée (22) de fluide présentant une seconde température, et des première (16) et seconde (18) sorties de fluide en libre communication avec respectivement les première et seconde entrées. Pour réguler la circulation du fluide à travers la vanne, des moyens thermostatiques de commande (24) sont prévus pour, mettre en communication, par la chambre (14), la première entrée (20) avec la seconde sortie (18) et la seconde entrée (22) avec la première sortie (16), uniquement lorsque soit la valeur de la première température est inférieure à une première valeur seuil prédéterminée, soit la valeur de la seconde température est supérieure à une seconde valeur seuil prédéterminée, strictement supérieure à la première valeur seuil.
Application à un circuit de refroidissement d'un moteur thermique et d'un système de re-circulation des gaz d'échappement provenant de ce moteur.
