The invention has for its object to provide a shield connection of the type mentioned, in which the Electrical coupling of the female jacket of the connector, which electrically contacted with the potential of the shielding of the cable to be connected sequentially, to the printed circuit board via which the shielding potential is further distributed, takes place automatically when the housing is joined.
This object is achieved in a shield connection with the features of the preamble of
The annular shield element according to the invention makes it possible to make the shield connection of the circuit board to the metal jacketed jacket of the connector in a particularly simple manner. With its contact members, the shield element is attached to the printed circuit board in question, and at the point where the coincident through the center of the ring plane of the shield member axis coincides with the axis of the associated connector in the closed position of the housing. Thus, during assembly of the housing to be arranged therein the circuit board on the one hand and the socket receiving housing wall relative to each other so brought together that introduces selbstätig the protruding on the inside of the housing wall socket jacket of the socket between the spring legs of the screen element. Another advantage is that the screen element can be produced in a simple manner. When punching out of a steel sheet only a few bending operations are provided to the away from the ring plane protruding contact members and spring legs to bring in their functional position. Thus, a plurality or variety of screen elements can be finished at the same time, which are easily separated from each other in the case of single use or can be used as interconnected screen elements to simultaneously make the shield connection to several sockets in the relevant housing wall, on the Arrangement to each other, the arrangement of the interconnected screen elements can be easily adjusted.
Further advantageous features of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
