STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

It is well known to improve and simplify electrically conductive coupling of the shield of an electrical lead to a packaged device. The document describes this DE 298 05 316 U1 an angle-shaped screen element with a self-resilient contact, which is arranged in the region of a housing insertion of a provided with a shield electrical line to make the coupling of the shield to the housing without additional time. From the document DE 197 34 422 A1 Going out screen elements that are provided on terminal devices for shielded electrical lines and have the form of protective caps or rectangular housings that must be plugged onto a mounting frame.

The document US 6,227,904 , which is considered to be the closest prior art, discloses a shield connection of a printed circuit board and a connector according to the preamble of claim 1.

The invention has for its object to provide a shield connection of the type mentioned, in which the Electrical coupling of the female jacket of the connector, which electrically contacted with the potential of the shielding of the cable to be connected sequentially, to the printed circuit board via which the shielding potential is further distributed, takes place automatically when the housing is joined.

This object is achieved in a shield connection with the features of the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of patent claim 1.

The annular shield element according to the invention makes it possible to make the shield connection of the circuit board to the metal jacketed jacket of the connector in a particularly simple manner. With its contact members, the shield element is attached to the printed circuit board in question, and at the point where the coincident through the center of the ring plane of the shield member axis coincides with the axis of the associated connector in the closed position of the housing. Thus, during assembly of the housing to be arranged therein the circuit board on the one hand and the socket receiving housing wall relative to each other so brought together that introduces selbstätig the protruding on the inside of the housing wall socket jacket of the socket between the spring legs of the screen element. Another advantage is that the screen element can be produced in a simple manner. When punching out of a steel sheet only a few bending operations are provided to the away from the ring plane protruding contact members and spring legs to bring in their functional position. Thus, a plurality or variety of screen elements can be finished at the same time, which are easily separated from each other in the case of single use or can be used as interconnected screen elements to simultaneously make the shield connection to several sockets in the relevant housing wall, on the Arrangement to each other, the arrangement of the interconnected screen elements can be easily adjusted.

Further advantageous features of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.

BESTER WEG ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGBEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

In the single shows Fig. 1 a screen element 1, which is stamped with its components arranged thereon from a flat sheet steel and partially bent in the manner discussed below. The shield element 1 has the basic shape of a circular ring, which is predetermined by the circular course of flat webs 2. The flat webs 2 have a width which is considerably greater than their thickness, which is determined by the thickness of the steel sheet from which the screen element 2 is punched out. The ring sections forming flat webs 2 are arranged lying flat in the plane of the ring.

The flat webs 2 each have at their two ends tobends 3, which are directed away from the center of the ring and connect to the angled portions 4. The bends 4 go over into intermediate webs 5, which are flat and which are perpendicular to the ring plane of the screen element 1. The intermediate webs 5 have a certain distance from this ring plane and close to it in the middle in each case in the direction of the ring plane away contact members 6 in the form of contact pins or pads. The contact members 6 thus protrude at the one ring side of the shielding element 1 with respect to the ring plane and extend in the direction parallel to the axis passing through the center of the ring plane.

At the side remote from the contact members 6 side close to the intermediate webs 5 spring leg 7, whose length is dimensioned so that they protrude on the second ring side relative to the ring plane of the shield element 1. In the initial position, the spring legs 7 are inclined slightly inwards in the direction of the axis passing through the center of the ring plane. At the free ends, the spring legs have outwardly angled end portions 8, wherein in the bending region on the inner sides of the spring legs 7 to the angled end portions 8 point out contact points 9, which are for the electrical described below Coupling are provided.

Vorzugsweise hat das Schirmelement 1 drei, vier oder eine noch größere Anzahl abgewinkelter Zwischenstege 5 mit den Kontaktgliedern 6 und den Federschenkeln 7.Overall, the screen element 1 is a rotationally symmetrical structure based on the axis passing through the center of the ring plane axis. Preferably, the screen element 1 has three, four or even greater number of angled intermediate webs 5 with the contact members 6 and the spring legs. 7

As Fig. 2 illustrated, the shield element 1 is mounted on a printed circuit board 10 in the functional position. The shielding potential received by the shielding element 1 is appropriately distributed by the printed circuit board 10 to achieve optimum shielding. The mechanical attachment and electrical contacting of the shielding element 1 on the printed circuit board 10 via the contact members 6, which may be formed for this purpose as soldering pins. Coaxially to the shielding element 1 relative to the axis passing through the plane of the ring of the shielding element 1, a contact carrier 12 of a connecting bushing 11 is fixedly mounted on the printed circuit board 10. To the connector 11 further includes a metallic jacketed jacket 15, which is designed as a hollow cylinder. The bushing jacket 15 is fixedly inserted into a cylindrical projection 13 on a wall 14, which belongs to a housing 10 receiving the housing, which is not shown in its entirety in the drawing. It is crucial that the assembly or assembly of the housing Housing wall 14 and the circuit board 10 are aligned with each other and can be moved towards each other that the contact carrier 12 surrounding bushing jacket 15 is aligned coaxially with the shield element 1 and can be moved to contact with the shield element 1.

The bushing jacket 15 of the connector 11 projects on the inside of the housing wall 14 and has an inner end, which is provided on its outer side to its free end face with a chamfer 16. When joining the connector 11, the inner end of the bushing jacket 15 moves between the spring legs 7 of the shield element 1, which are thereby widened. Accordingly, the inner end of the bushing jacket 15 has an outer diameter which is greater than the diameter of that circle on which the inner contact points 9 are located on the spring legs 7 of the shielding element 1 in the starting position. As Fig. 3 shows, thereby a secure contact of the spring leg 7 is secured to the inner end of the sleeve shell 15.

The female jacket 15 of the connector 11 has an accessible from the outside of the housing wall depending on the type of connection female thread or male thread for coupling a connector having a corresponding threaded portion for screwing to the female jacket 15 of the female connector 11. This threaded portion of the plug in turn is in the usual way with the screen of a guided in a cable connected electrical line, which is an electrical connection of the conductor shield to the screen element 1 when attached to the socket 11 plug.

The FIGS. 4 and 5 serve for the purpose of illustrating each of a connector 11.1 and a connector 11.2, of which the female jacket 15 of the connector 11.1 is provided with an external thread and the connector 11.2 with an internal thread. Continue to do that FIGS. 4 and 5 clearly that the two connection sockets 11.1 and 11.2 associated screen elements 1 are connected via connecting webs 17 in one piece. This achieves improved shielding at several line inputs into the relevant housing and to the associated printed circuit board. In principle, if only one connection of the shielding elements between two or more connection sockets 11 is required, the contact members 6 on the shielding element 1 can remain unused or even be omitted. In this case, the shrouds 1 are attached only to the jackets coats 15 of the sockets 11.

Fig. 6 shows a plurality of the shield elements 1, which are integrally connected to one another via the connecting webs 17. In this form results in a rational production of the shielding elements 1, which can optionally be separated by separating the connecting webs 17. On the other hand, the coherent shielding elements 1 can also be used in a composite, provided they are mutually connected take such distances, which corresponds to the arrangement of accordingly juxtaposed connectors 11. Both in individual use and when used in combination the spring leg 7 of the shield elements 1 due to their elasticity possible tolerances on the female jackets 15 of the sockets 11 or in the arrangement of several sockets 11 from each other.

The multiplicity or multiplicity of the screen elements 1 can be produced in the form of a grid field or band. At the in Fig. 6 illustrated example, the shield elements 1 each have four flat webs 2, accordingly, the other components of the shield elements 1 are four times available. The connecting webs 17 preferably connect centrally in the radial direction to the flat webs 2, in each case two adjacent connecting webs 17 thus enclose an angle of 90 ° with one another. In the grid, there are thus two escape directions of the connecting webs 17, which also form an angle of 90 ° with each other. The respectively arranged in one of these two escape directions connecting webs 17.1 and 17.2 are the same length, as well as lying in the two different escape directions connecting webs 17.1 and 17.2 be the same length or different lengths. This depends on the configuration of the sockets 11, as it is provided on the housing of the respective device, in particular a sensor-actuator box.
