Abstract

The chamber has an enclosure (3) surrounding an inner region (2) and a snowmaking device (6) at a cover area of the region. The device consists of a housing (7) and a spray nozzle (9) within the housing, where chilled air and water under are applied to the nozzle using an arrangement (10). The nozzle is so constructed that the size of water droplets in the air sprayed from the chamber is between 20-150 microns. The arrangement supplies water with a temperature over the freezing point at the nozzle, and a snowy air with a temperature to the snowmaking device, where the temperature of snowy air is around 10-12 degree Celsius and under the water temperature at the nozzle.
