This invention relates to a refrigerator (1) preferably a deep-freezer comprising lids (6) providing easy access to the compartments (4) for the user.

Description

Description A REFRIGERATOR
[001] This invention relates to a refrigerator preferably a deep-freezer which comprises lids for flexible use of the user by means of easy access to the compartments.
[002] Refrigerators preferably deep-freezers generally have an inner body which consists of compartments. Compartments are in the form of drawers and shelves, and closed with flap-type lids which are preferable opened from downward-upward direction or vice versa. When objects higher than the compartment is requested to be put in the device, one or more shelves can be removed, however the lids in front of the shelves obstructs easy access to the compartments having increased volume. In devices having drawer lids which are opened in upward-downward direction, the user is required to open the drawer's lid to take an object in the upper shelves and it causes the difficulty of use and damage of the drawer's lid.
[003] The object of this invention is to realize a refrigerator comprising lids providing the user with flexible use during the access to the compartments.
[004] The refrigerator realized in order to attain the objective of the present invention has been illustrated in the attached drawings, wherein;
[005] Figure 1 is a schematic view of a refrigerator.
[006] Figure 2 is a schematic view of a refrigerator in which a shelf is removed and a wide volume of use is obtained.
[007] Figure 3 is a perspective view of a lid which is opened in downward-upward direction.
[008] Figure 4 is a perspective view of a lid which is opened in upward-downward direction.

[010] Refrigerator preferable deep-freezers comprise a door (5) which is used for the access into the device, an outer body (2), an inner body (3) and more than one compartment (4) in which food and/or beverages are placed. [Oil] The compartments (4) comprise one or more lids (6) in the form of flap-type being opened in upward-downward or downward-upward direction in which food and beverages are placed and one or more shelves (7) carrying the placed objects.
[012] The lid (6) comprises a handle (8) which provides the opening and closing by hand.
[013] In refrigerator (1) which is the subject of the invention, a volume of use (9) is obtained by the removal of the shelf (7) between two adjacent compartments (4) and connection of compartments (4).
[014] Volume of use (9) comprises an inlet (10) covered by the lids (6).
[015] In order for easy access to the volume of use (9) and placement of the objects, the lower part of the inlet (10) is covered by a lid (6) which is opened in upward- downward direction and closed in downward-upward direction by an angle of 90 degrees around a fixed horizontal axis (cl) under the inlet and the upper part of the inlet (10) is covered by a lid (6) which is opened in downward-upward direction and closed in upward-downward direction by an angle of 90 degrees around a fixed horizontal axis (c2) on the inlet (10).
[016] When the user places an object higher than the compartment (4), he/she opens the lid (6) covering the upper part of the volume of use (9) comprising two compartments (4) in upward direction and the lid (6) covering the lower part of the volume of use (9) in downward direction, and places the object easily by removing the shelf (7) between two compartments (4).
[017] Upon the request of the user, two compartments (4) can be used separately by placing a shelf (7) into the volume of use (9).
[018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, two compartments (4) o the upper part of the refrigerator (1) are integrated and a volume of use (9) is obtained. Therefore, easy placement of objects in refrigerators (1) which are particularly high for the user is provided by opening the lid (6) covering the upper part of the volume of use (9) in downward-upward direction.
[019] Opening and closing positions of the lids (6) covering the volume of use (9) provides an easy use for the user.

Claims
[001] A refrigerator (1) comprising one or more lids (6) in the form of flap-type being opened in upward-downward or downward-upward direction in which food and beverages are placed and one or more compartments (4) having one or more shelves (7) and/or drawers carrying the placed objects characterized with two adjacent compartments (4) covered by a lid (6) which is opened in upward- downward direction and closed in downward-upward direction around a fixed horizontal axis (cl) at the lower part and a lid (6) which is opened in downward- upward direction and closed in upward-downward direction around a fixed horizontal axis (c2) at the upper part.
[002] A refrigerator as defined in Claim 1 characterized with a volume of use (9) comprising an inlet (10) formed by the integration of the compartments (4) by means of the removal of the shelf (7) between two adjacent compartments (4), an upper part of the inlet (10) covered by a lid (6) opened in upward-downward direction and closed in downward-upward direction around a horizontal axis (cl) and a lower part of the inlet (10) covered by a lid (6) opened in downward- upward direction and closed in upward-downward direction around a horizontal axis (c2).
