Abstract

The closure has a plate-shaped closure unit (2) that is composed of a part of a fire protection glass. A frame (6) surrounds the closure unit and is non-positively connected with a building part (7). A stabilization section is arranged within the frame in a resting state and mechanically sets in under impact of heat within a cross section bordered by the frame.
