Description

The invention relates to a control method of a motorized screen type roller shutter, garage door, or blind, which can be operated at different speeds. It further relates to a device for implementing such a method.

The screen may consist in particular of a shutter, a garage door or a blind. These devices called motorized screens include an actuator for driving the screen. They also include a control command transmitter and a control command receiver controlling the actuator. The command transmitter allows a user or an operator to control the actuator.

The use of a DC motor, as is the case for garage doors, allows the speed of the door to be regulated in a simple manner, so as to arrive at a slower speed for the purpose of racing. example. The same effects can also be achieved with an AC motor.

It is known, especially of the demand WO 01/77479 and the patent EP 1 083 291 , to assign a lower speed limit to the maximum speed of the actuator to reduce the noise of the actuator for a given load. The maneuvers of these screens are slow.

In the particular field of venetian blinds, the patent is known US 6,084,231 a motorized venetian blind device integrated in a system for regulating the illumination caused by a window in a room. The venetian blind includes a variable speed motor. It allows to maneuver the blind at slow speed to make adjustments and operate the blind at a fast speed to reduce the adjustment time when larger displacements are required.

Patent is also known US 5,663,621 a similar device whose blades can be oriented at different speeds. The rotation of the slow speed blades is intended to avoid the jumps of the awning when it is controlled by an automatism.

Patent is known US 4,887,660 a motorized curtain device. The curtain is maneuvered at high speed all the way except when approaching the end positions where it is maneuvered at slow speed. Switches are used to detect the position of the curtain and to control the speed of maneuver thereof accordingly.

We finally know the utility model DE 200 00 682 a motorized sun protection device comprising an acceleration sensor placed on the load bar of the device. This sensor communicates by radio link with a motor control unit to control the movement of the device according to the forces applied to it and in particular the forces due to the wind.

It turns out that the speed of actuation of motorized screens is not, on all occasions, an important criterion. In the case of closing shutters at night, for example, from the moment the closing command is passed, the closing speed does not really matter. On the other hand, the noise generated by the movement of the shutters, considered more particularly at certain times of the day as a nuisance, takes on considerable importance. However, on other occasions, it may be necessary to perform the same operation of the screen quickly. In the prior art, the slow speed is associated with fine adjustments, for which the user must maintain his control or remain attentive to the displacement of the screen to a desired position, or to commands by automatisms, so as to avoid jumps of the screen (due to the friction of the winding cords for example). None of the documents of the prior art mentioned can handle the situations described above, in which the speed of movement of a screen does not normally have any importance.

The object of the invention is to propose a control method that overcomes the problem cited and improves the methods known from the prior art. In particular, the invention provides a motorized screen control method for managing emergency situations and better meeting the requirements of users. The invention also proposes a device for implementing the method.

Le procédé selon l'invention est défini par la revendication 1.The process according to the invention is defined by claim 1.

The method according to the invention makes it possible to use a default mobile screen maneuvering motor below its capacity in terms of drive speed while allowing, on occasion or if necessary, its use at a higher speed. . The speed, slower than that which could be provided given the power of the engine, thus becomes the nominal operating speed over the entire run of the screen on a single command (up, down, up to a predefined intermediate position) of a user.

Différentes variantes d'exécution sont définies par les revendications dépendantes 2 à 8.Different alternative embodiments are defined by dependent claims 2 to 8.

The motorized screen device embodying the method is characterized in that it comprises at least one command transmitter, one command receiver and an actuator capable of operating at different speeds connected to the command receiver, the command transmitter (s) and / or the command receiver comprising means for detecting simple commands from a user on a transmitter orders and order events.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, a device for implementing the method according to the invention.

The figure 1 is a diagram of a motorized screen device for implementing the method according to the invention.

The figures 2 and 3 are diagrams of different phases of execution of the method according to the invention.

The motorized screen device 1 shown in FIG. figure 1 mainly comprises a screen 5 such as a shutter, driven by an actuator 2. The actuator 2 is connected to a command receiver 6 communicating with one or more issuers of control commands 4 via wired links or without son. The different issuers of orders can be intended to issue orders following actions performed manually by the user on them and / or to issue orders generated automatically according to external parameters such as wind, sun and time, from data measured by sensors. The motorized screen device also comprises a sensor 7 for example for measuring the wind speed and directly transmitting the measured values to the command receiver 6. The actuator 2, the sensor 7 and the command transmitters 4 are connected to sources of power supply 3.

The actuator is capable of operating at two speeds, a slow speed V L which is its nominal speed and a fast speed V R. The screen 5 can in this way be driven at two speeds.

In an execution phase of the process shown in figure 2 , a control event that may consist of a particular sequence of actions on one of the issuers of orders, in a particular duration of actions on this issuer or in a particular order automatically generated by the issuer of orders is symbolized by an arrow A1. This event causes the screen to move at a fast speed while the screen is normally moved at slow speed. This gear change is punctual. It only affects the operation of the screen controlled by the event. During the following maneuvers, if there is no particular shift instruction, the actuator drives the screen at its nominal speed, that is to say at the slow speed.

A normal maneuver of the screen, implemented by a simple command of rise or fall on the issuer of orders, would have started at a date S1 and would be completed at a date E1.

The maneuver following the control event causing the modification of the speed and starting at a date S2 equal to S1, ends at a date E2 prior to E1.

The setting of the default control mode of this method in which the nominal speed is the slow speed can be realized during the manufacture of the product or during the installation of the screen device, in particular during the learning.

The default command mode can then be changed by the user, by entering the learning mode again, from an order transmitter and / or the command receiver.

The order transmitters 4 of the device include automatisms that can send orders in a conventional manner as measured functions, for example sun, wind, rain. These commands are executed by the actuator at the nominal speed, that is to say at the slow speed, except in certain special cases called emergency.

These special cases can be defined by the user or the installer during an apprenticeship. The speed change information can be either contained in the order issued by the automation or contained in the command receiver 6 and validated by a type of order received.

A user may, for example, wish his blind to be folded down at a slow speed if wind is detected by a sensor above a first threshold and at a fast speed if wind is detected beyond a critical threshold. It can then be memorized, at the level of the automation or at the level of the actuator, that a wind detection beyond this critical threshold must automatically generate a fallback order of the blind if it is deployed, this order containing or activating gearshift information, from nominal speed to faster speed. In the case of the sensor 7, the wind detection information is transmitted to the command receiver which determines if the blind must be folded and, if so, how fast it must be.

The gearshift information can also be used if the critical wind threshold is detected during the operation of a blind to control a fast-speed fold. The automatism then sends information about this new critical measure of wind containing or activating gearshift information.

A particular command transmitter can also be configured in such a way that, regardless of the command command placed by this command transmitter, the command receiver reacts as if it were receiving a shift information. The command event is then the identification, by the command receiver, of the particular command transmitter, through an order received from it. This identification can be based on the reception by the command receiver of the identifier of this particular command transmitter.

L'écran est alors déplacé à vitesse rapide jusqu'à la fin de la manoeuvre qui se termine à la date E2, antérieure à la date E1.In the execution phase of the process shown in figure 3 a control event consisting of detection of a wind gust by a sensor is symbolized by an arrow A2. This event at a date S2 causes the operation of the screen at high speed while the screen is maneuvered at nominal speed since the date S1. The screen is then moved at a fast speed until the end of the maneuver which ends on the date E2, prior to the date E1.

The described control method thus makes it possible to manage emergency situations or to meet the requirements of users in a hurry by authorizing under certain conditions the rapid speed maneuvering of the screen. It also allows, the screen is normally operated at low speed, to reduce noise and to spare the kinematic motion transmission of the actuator on the screen.

A method for controlling a motor-driven screen (1) of the rolling shutter, garage door, or blind type which may be maneuvered at different speeds, the method comprising at least one default control mode in which a maneuver of the screen (5) is normally accomplished at a first slow rated speed over the whole of its travel subsequent to a simple command from a user on an order transmitter (4) and in which at least one control event causes maneuvering of the screen at a second speed, greater than the first, the change in speed being one-off and only affecting the maneuvering of the screen controlled by the event, so that during subsequent maneuvers, if there is no particular instruction for changing speed, an actuator drives the screen at the first rated speed, the control event consisting in:
    ▪ a particular action of a user on an order transmitter (4), or
    ▪ an order automatically generated by an order transmitter (4).
  2. The control method according to claim 1, characterized in that the second maneuvering speed is applied to the maneuver being executed.
  3. The control method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the second maneuvering speed is applied to the next maneuver which will be ordered.
  4. The control method according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that an order transmitter automatically generates orders according to external parameters such as wind, sun, weather from data measured by sensors.
  5. The control method according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a particular action of a user is a sequence or a particular pressing duration on keys of an order transmitter (4) or an action on a specific key of an order transmitter (4).
  6. The control method according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the particular action on an order transmitter may be executed on a same order transmitter as for the maneuver of a command at a rated speed.
  7. The control method according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a control event comprises the identification, by the order receiver, of a particular order transmitter through an order received from the latter.
  8. The control method according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the maneuvering of the screen is accomplished at a reduced speed over certain portions of its travel and notably in the vicinity of the end-of-travel positions.
  9. A motor-driven screen device applying the method according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it comprises at least one order transmitter (4), an order receiver (6) and an actuator (2) able to operate at different speeds connected to the order receiver (6), the order transmitter(s) (4) and/or the order receiver (6) comprising means for detecting simple commands from a user on a transmitter for orders and control events.
