    characterised in that the first machining region (3) for dividing into crude blanks, the second machining region (4) for carrying out complete machining and the gripping device (9) for conveying the particular crude blank from the first machining region to the second working region are installed, and in that a control device having both a dividing program and a machining program is provided for the machining unit (8) and a programmable handling device is provided for the gripping device (9).
  6. Machining centre according to claim 5, characterised in that

    - the displacement path of the displacing device is designed such that the gripping device (9) can be moved over the upstream panel-stacking region (2) and the downstream deposit region (5).
  7. Machining centre according to claim 5, characterised in that the machining unit (8) and the gripping device (9) are mounted on a guide beam (7) running essentially horizontally and which can be moved back and forth horizontally transversely to its direction of extension.
