  • a second category of containment or isolation chamber is also known in the form of a flexible envelope, as illustrated in particular by patents.
  • US Patent 3,345,996 , US Patent 2,279,694 , US Patent 6,001,057 , DE-A-970 939 and EP-A-0417051 Flexible envelopes, when they are associated with an air supply device, have the disadvantage of being able to operate exclusively under overpressure as illustrated in particular by the patent.
  • EP-A-0417051 due to the presence of a flexible envelope associated with an exhaust valve, mechanical member which has a number of disadvantages.
  • the overpressure of the enclosure is particularly suitable in case of victim having suffered severe burns. Conversely, it is better to place the enclosure under vacuum when a person is contaminated.
  • Safety enclosures known to date do not allow such a vacuum under a portable enclosure. Moreover, the presence of external ventilation devices to the enclosure generates a large size of the assembly.
  • An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a confinement or isolation chamber of a new type whose design allows indifferently the setting under vacuum or overpressure of the enclosure without harming the bulk of the box remains easily portable .
  • Another object of the present invention is to propose a containment or isolation chamber of a new type whose design allows two modes of operation, respectively in depression or overpressure by means of the same turbine, the passage of one operation to another taking place in a few minutes.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a portable confinement or isolation chamber whose design allows easy decontamination of the assembly.
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a portable confinement or isolation chamber whose design makes it possible to avoid the incorporation of valves or mechanical exhaust valves or any other type of mechanical devices necessary for the evacuation of the air contained within said enclosure.
