  • the body may comprise deformable walls, in particular elastically deformable.
  • the container may be in the form of a tube, a pot or a bottle.
  • the container may contain a cosmetic product, especially a washing product.
  • the container could also contain an exfoliating product or a desquamating product.
  • the container may contain a product in the form of a gel, cream or mousse.
  • a container that serves both to contain a product and to exfoliate the skin is thus easily and inexpensively made.
  • the process does not require any additional step compared to a manufacturing process of the container alone.
  • the preform which can be made by injection or extrusion, can be deformed by blowing.
  • the container 10, shown on the figure 1 is a bottle for containing a liquid product, especially a cosmetic product, for example a shower gel or a facial cleanser.
  • a liquid product especially a cosmetic product, for example a shower gel or a facial cleanser.
  • the bottle 10 comprises a body 20, of generally rectangular shape, having a side wall 22 of substantially elliptical cross section and a bottom 23, substantially flat.
  • the side wall 22 of the body has two large relatively flat faces, these faces being connected by two rounded edges having concavities 25 for receiving the fingers of the user to facilitate gripping of the container.
  • the side wall 22 is further elastically deformable to facilitate the exit of the product.
  • the body 20 has a neck 24, made in one piece with the rest of the body.
  • the neck 24 defines an opening 21 through which the product can exit.
  • the body of the bottle is for example made of polyethylene.
  • the opening 21 of the body of the bottle can be closed by a closure cap 30 arranged to snap on the neck 24.
  • the capsule 30 has a fixing skirt, not visible in the figures, which is fixed on the neck 24 by fastening means comprising for example a groove arranged to receive a relief such as an annular bead 26 provided on the neck 24.
  • fastening means comprising for example a groove arranged to receive a relief such as an annular bead 26 provided on the neck 24.
  • the capsule could be screwed onto the neck of the bottle.
  • the capsule further comprises a skirt of dressing 31 which continues the contour of the body so as to obtain a bottle of generally rectangular shape.
  • the skirt of dressing 31 is connected in its upper part to a transverse wall, not shown, which has an orifice intended to be opposite the opening 21 of the neck of the bottle when the capsule is fixed on the bottle.
  • the capsule 30 also comprises a cap 32 articulated on the dressing skirt 31 and intended to close the orifice.
  • the body 20 comprises, on its outer surface, an abrasive element 40 provided for exfoliating the skin.
  • the abrasive element 40 comprises a cellular material, in particular a closed-cell foam of uncrosslinked polyethylene.
  • the foam has for example a density of between 25 and 65 kg / m 3 , in particular approximately equal to 35 kg / m 3 .
  • the abrasive element 40 comprises a plurality of cells 41 opening on its outer face via at least one open edge 42. Such a configuration makes it possible to define a relatively abrasive surface.
  • the abrasive element has an abrasive power of between 0.01 and 0.02 g / cm 2 / min, inclusive.
  • an abrasive surface of approximately 166.5 cm 2 (9 cm ⁇ 18.5 cm) is applied to a 50 mm thick plaster tile with a Black & Decker CD400 135W sander, the pressure exerted on the plaster tile resulting from the weight of the sander, of which only the movement in the plane of the abrasive surface is constrained for a specified period. The amount of plaster removed from the plaster tile is then measured during this time.
  • the abrasive power of the non-crosslinked polyethylene closed cell foam with a density of 35 kg / m 3 was measured, the abrasive power being equal to 0.015 g / cm 2 / min.
  • this measurement of abrasive power was performed for other elements under the same conditions.
  • the results obtained are as follows: for a sandpaper No. 0, an abrasive power of 0.014 g / cm 2 / min is obtained and for a # 2 sandpaper, an abrasive power of 0.018 g / cm 2 / min.
  • a soft foam PTZ® or Plastazote® low density cross-linked polyethylene foam
  • an abrasive power of 0.001 g / cm 2 / min is obtained.
  • the abrasive element 40 is for example located on one of the large substantially plane faces of the side wall 22 of the body of the flask.
  • the abrasive element has for example the form of a substantially rectangular plate, of thickness approximately equal to 7 mm.
  • the abrasive element may have any other shape adapted to the surface of the bottle to which it is attached and also to the surface to be exfoliated.
  • the abrasive element may for example be an oval plate, in drop of water or in the form of a flower.
  • the two abrasive elements may be identical or different.
  • the bottle 10 can be made for example as follows.
  • the polyethylene foam is first extruded by mixing polyethylene and isobutane to obtain a block of foam with cells containing isobutane. This block of foam is then stored to be degassed so that the ambient air replaces the isobutane in the cells. During degassing, the polyethylene polymerizes to form the closed cells of the foam which are then relatively rigid.
  • the foam block thus obtained is smooth on the surface because of the presence of a skin which has formed on the walls of the extrusion mold. This block of foam is then cut so as to obtain at least one face with cut cells, this face being intended to form the exfoliating surface of the abrasive element.
  • the block of foam is then cut to the desired size to obtain the abrasive element 40.
  • the foam is cut in the form of a plate of about 7 mm thick having two large faces, at least one of which comprises the cells cut, the face having the cut cells facing the wall of the mold.
  • This foam plate is placed in a mold whose cavity has the shape of the body of the bottle that it is desired to make, on the wall intended to form one of the substantially plane faces of the side wall of the body.
  • the plate is held in the mold by any attachment means that is heat resistant. It can for example be fixed to the mold by means of hooks, double-sided adhesive, Velcro®, or by a suction system. It can also be maintained in a recess provided in the inner wall of the mold, the dimensions of the recess being slightly lower than those of the foam plate so as to maintain it.
  • the foam is compressed in the mold so that when the bottle comes out of the mold, the foam relaxes and comes extra thick on the bottle.
  • the foam is held in the mold thanks to the recess, it is not necessarily compressed.
  • This mold is then injected with polyethylene to produce a preform comprising a tubular part closed at its lower end and being connected superiorly to the neck defining the opening 21.
  • a hot gas is then injected through the opening 21 inside the opening. the preform, so as to expand the sufficiently hot tubular portion, until it substantially matches the shape of the inner surface of the mold and the face of the foam plate facing the mold interior.
  • the face of the plate facing the interior of the mold melts slightly in contact with the bottle and is welded by cooling on the outer wall of the bottle.
  • the outer surface of the bottle can come to marry the cells 42 of the foam through blowing.
  • the abrasive element 40 is thus perfectly fixed on the body 20 of the bottle.
  • the temperature of the preform and the pressure it undergoes when the gas is injected are chosen so that they allow the foam to weld on the wall of the bottle and that they do not allow the foam to melt in the mold nor to the air trapped in the cells of the foam to explode.
  • the temperature and pressure parameters are very close to those used to produce a conventional polyethylene bottle.
  • the polyethylene preform has, for example, a temperature of between 50 and 100 ° C. and is subjected to a pressure of between 8 and 10 bars.
  • the body of the bottle could be made by extrusion blow molding.
  • the foam plate can be glued, in particular with a hot glue or with a double-sided adhesive.
  • the body of the bottle is then produced in a conventional manner, without disposing the foam plate in the mold beforehand.
  • the foam may be soldered back onto the wall of the bottle, for example by a mirror weld.
  • the user grasps the bottle by its side wall 22 by placing its fingers in the concavities 25 provided on the edges of the body while the bottle is closed by the capsule 30. It can then apply the foam 40 on its skin, as illustrated in the figure 3 , rubbing lightly after, for example, applying the shower gel to the area to be treated.
  • the bottle By using the bottle as a handle, the user has a good grip to perform his exfoliation.
  • the combined effect of the abrasive surface and the product increases the effectiveness of the scrub.
  • the container 110 may be in the form of a pot having a cylindrical body 120 of revolution, having in its upper part an annular piece 124 threaded delimiting an opening 121.
  • the opening 121 is relatively large for example to allow the removal of the product contained in the body of the container by means of an applicator introduced through the opening.
  • a cover 130 is then provided to close the opening 121 of the body by screwing on the threaded annular piece.
  • the cover has a flat upper face 131 covered with an abrasive element 140.
  • the abrasive element 140 this time has the shape of a disc.
  • the abrasive element 140 can be glued to the lid or welded by being surinjected on the lid.
  • the body 320 of the container may be intended to contain a dose of product for a single use, the body can be filled by the user with each use.
  • the body 320 has for example the shape of a handle. It also comprises in its upper part an annular piece 324 threaded defining an opening 321.
  • a cover 330 is then provided to restrict the opening 321 of the body by screwing on the threaded annular piece.
  • the cover comprises a flat upper face 331 covered with an abrasive element 340. This time, the abrasive element is traversed by passages 322 opening on the one hand to the outer surface of the abrasive element and on the other hand , inside the body.
  • the user can apply the product while rubbing the surface with the abrasive element since the product from the body of the container is conveyed on the outer face of the foam through the passages 322.
  • the container 210 may comprise a tubular body 220 with flexible walls, having a threaded collar 224 at one end, the neck being partially closed by a transverse wall 223 through which an orifice 221 passes.
  • the tubular body 220 is closed at end opposite the neck by pinching so as to form a tube.
  • a closure cap 230 is provided to screw on the neck, thanks to a threaded skirt.
  • the plug has a substantially frustoconical shape and has a flat upper transverse wall, covered with an abrasive element 240.
  • the side wall of the frustoconical shaped cap flares towards its upper wall so as to facilitate the gripping of the cap when the user applies it to his skin, as illustrated in figure 6 if he uses the cap alone.
  • the user can also hold the entire container with the tube closed by the stopper to apply the foam.
  • This embodiment is particularly suitable for application on the face because the foam surface is relatively small.
  • the body of the container is surmounted by a pump or a valve.
