Definitions
- the invention relates to a cooling plate made of copper or a copper alloy for shaft furnaces according to the features in the preamble of claim 1.
- Such a cooling plate counts through the EP 0 951 371 B1 to the state of the art.
- a plurality of bores for receiving a coolant, in particular water are provided which are connected via welded on the plate cold side connecting pipes with a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet.
- the inner cross section of the connecting pipes is usually adapted to the diameter of the holes.
- the determination of the connection pipes on the cooling plate is usually carried out in that made in the plate cold side the outer diameter of the connecting pipes adapted recesses low depth, then the cooling plate side ends of the connection pipes inserted into these recesses and then the connection pipes are welded to the cooling plate by fillet welds.
- a special processing of the plate-side ends of the connection pipes does not take place here. They are usually chamfered mostly on the inside to ensure a better flow of the coolant.
- the connecting pipes are made of copper or a copper alloy
- the connecting pipes connected to a steel coolant inlet and coolant outlet are provided with steel sleeves at a distance from the cooling plate.
- a steel sleeve is required for connecting pipes of copper or a copper alloy in order to produce a gas-tight weld with the shaft furnace jacket.
- Another problem in the known case is that the testing of the fillet welds, e.g. with the help of a dye penetration test especially for Cu welds, although technically possible, but associated with considerable effort.
- the EP 1 391 521 A1 discloses a copper or low alloy copper alloy cooling plate, for metallurgical furnaces provided with an outer furnace armor sheet, with at least one, preferably at least two, coolant channels extending inside the cooling plate, with coolant tube pieces for coolant flow out through the furnace armor sheet to the outside are guided.
- On the cooling plate holding tubes are attached, which are provided outside of the furnace armor plate with retaining washers and fix the cooling plate in the direction of the furnace interior. Holding tubes and retaining washers are preferably made of steel.
- the invention is - starting from the prior art - the object of the invention to provide a cooling plate made of copper or a copper alloy for shaft furnaces, in which an increased fatigue strength of the connection between the cooling plate and the connecting pipes by better absorption and transmission of the stresses occurring in the field is reached.
- connection pipes are now regardless of whether they are made of copper or a copper alloy, steel or a combination of these materials, provided at their plate-side ends with radially projecting flanges. These flanges are fitted in recesses provided on the plate cold side shallow depth and then welded at its periphery with the plate cold side. As a result, the weld is no longer in the area in the the voltage maxima occur.
- Conventional welding methods friction stir welding, electron beam welding or even laser welding can be used.
- the flanges are formed by flaring the plate-side ends of the connecting pipes. Such flaring can be easily done both with connection pipes made of copper or a copper alloy or steel. Comparatively thin-walled connection pipes can be used.
- the flanges on the connection tubes on the outer circumference and the recesses in the plate cold side provided with bevels on the inner circumference. In this way, a nearly ideal weld preparation is created and ensured with the V-seam increased fatigue strength of the connection.
- connection pipes in the concave transition areas are blasted onto the flanges, e.g. By shot blasting, the strength values of the connection pipes in the area of the flanges can be further increased.
- each hole in the cooling plate can be connected via connecting pipes to the coolant inlet and the coolant outlet.
- the invention provides according to claim 5, that at least two adjacent holes are connected by a connecting pipe with the coolant inlet and the coolant outlet.
- the plate-side ends of the connecting pipes are deformed oval.
- This embodiment has its advantage when the holes in the cooling plate are formed oval (regardless of their production) or when at least two small-diameter holes are to be coupled with a connection pipe.
- the connecting pipes made of steel or of a steel alloy, it is advantageous that the chamfers are coated on the connecting pipes and / or the chamfers in the recesses with nickel.
- the flanges are also formed of a steel alloy and provided with chamfers, then it is expedient for the chamfers on the flanges and / or the chamfers in the recesses in the cold plate side to be coated with nickel.
- FIGS. 1 to 5 1 is a cooling plate made of a copper alloy for shaft furnaces.
- the cooling plate 1 has on the Plattenh designedseite 2 alternately grooves 3 and 4 projections.
- the cooling plate 1 is flat.
- a plurality of holes 6 are provided as deep holes, which serve to receive a coolant, in particular water. These designed as blind holes holes 6 have at the inlet ends 7 plug. 8
- the bores 6 can be connected individually or in groups (with a correspondingly reduced diameter) with connection pipes 9, 10.
- connection pipes 9, 10 In the FIGS. 1 to 5 Each bore is conductively connected to a connecting pipe 9, 10 coolant. It is also conceivable that in the region of the connecting pipes 9, 10 holes 6 klei neren diameter groups are grouped together (two to four holes 6) and these holes 6 are then connected via direct connections or via oblique holes with the connecting pipes 9, 10.
- connection pipes 9, 10 coupled with steel coolant inlets 12 and coolant outlets 13 are made of a copper alloy. They are provided with circumferential sleeves 11 made of steel, which are gas-tight welded to a shaft furnace jacket.
- connection pipes 9 are provided at their plate-side ends 14 with flanges 15, which are formed by flanging.
- the flanges 15 are provided on the outer periphery with chamfers 16.
- the concave transition regions 25 are shot peened.
- a recess 17 is incorporated in the plate cold side 5 ( FIG. 5 ).
- the depth T of the recess 17 is less than the thickness D of the material between the bore 6 and the plate cold side 5.
- this is equipped with a chamfer 18.
- connection pipe 9 is inserted into a recess 17, 17 is a V-shaped space formed between the outer periphery 16 of the flange 15 of the connecting pipe 9 and the inner periphery 18 of the recess, which can be used in an ideal way to now according to FIG. 4 to be able to lay a V-shaped weld 19.
- an eyelet 22 is screwed into a threaded bore 20 in the upper end face 21.
- 5 threaded holes 23 are provided on the plate cold side, can be screwed into the mounting screws 24.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine Kühlplatte für einen Schachtofen von der Plattenkaltseite her gesehen;

Figur 1 ; - Figur 4
