U-shaped parts are connected to each other by inserting protrusions into slots so that U-shaped parts can be rotated around axis joining two flared protrusions. Self-drilling screw (34) is used to secure both U-shaped parts together. An independent claim is also included for a manufacturing process of a carrier structure, such as suspended ceiling.

Description

US-A-3,295,806 shows a U-shaped portion, according to the preamble of claim 5.

FR-A-2,581,407 shows a false ceiling with a hanger and a profile.

Frames are known to be divided into several assembled parts. These parts can be positioned and oriented relative to each other so as to allow the realization of a level structure, even if the joist or, more generally, the support structure is not. An upper portion of the hanger is attached to the support structure via a threaded rod, if any. The specific shape of the lower part makes it possible to assemble this lower part with a rail or a profile. Rails or profiles then form with the lines a supporting structure on which are subsequently fixed plates to achieve a false ceiling.

Or, de telles suspentes présentent des inconvénients.However, such lines have disadvantages.

Maintaining the suspension parts in a given relative orientation, for assembly with a profile, sometimes requires attached fasteners such as butterflies or bolts.

In addition, the simultaneous manipulation of these parts and fasteners is impractical given the typical heights at which the lines are manipulated.

In addition, the parts of lines are not interchangeable.

In addition, the production of the suspension parts is further complicated because of their dissimilarity.

The invention solves the problems mentioned above.

The invention relates to a false ceiling, according to claim 1, with a hanger comprising two U-shaped parts and each comprising two substantially parallel wings, in which:
  • a part includes a hole on each of its wings
  • the other part comprises a projection on each of its wings, abutting against an edge of one of the holes; and
  • the parts are rotatably mounted relative to each other and about an axis joining the projections.

  • les saillies sont des collets battus et les trous sont des boutonnières ;
  • une partie en forme de U comprend en outre au moins un trou de serrage traversé par une vis fixant l'autre partie ;
In preferred embodiments, the invention comprises one or more of the following features:
  • the projections are beaten collars and the holes are buttonholes;
  • a U-shaped portion further comprises at least one clamping hole traversed by a screw securing the other part;
  • the U-shaped parts are identical.

The invention also relates to a U-shaped portion, according to claim 5, comprising two substantially parallel wings, with on each of the wings a hole and a projection, the holes being opposite and the projections being opposite.

According to a variant, each of the projections is a flanged collar protruding outwards and each of the holes is a buttonhole.

The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a false ceiling, according to claim 7, the method comprising the steps of: providing the U-shaped portions and a profile; placing the profile with one of the parties; assembling the two parts and adjusting an angle between the two parts by rotation; fixing the two parts and fixing, if necessary, the profile with one of the parties.

According to a variant, this method also comprises an intermediate step: providing a fastening means and assembling the other parts with this fixing means.

  • Figure 2 : une partie en forme de U d'une suspente selon l'invention ;
  • Figure 3 : une vue de profil d'une partie en forme de U d'une suspente selon l'invention ;
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the following description of preferred embodiments of the invention, given by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings showing:
  • Figure 1: a support structure with: a hanger, according to the invention, comprising two U-shaped parts; and a profile put in place in the hanger.
  • Figure 2: a U-shaped portion of a hanger according to the invention;
  • Figure 3 is a side view of a U-shaped portion of a hanger according to the invention;

So; the invention proposes a hanger which, once assembled, comprises two U-shaped parts each comprising two substantially parallel wings, wherein: a portion comprises a hole on each of its wings; the other part comprises a projection on each of its wings, abutting against an edge of one of the holes; and the parts are rotatably mounted relative to each other and about an axis joining the projections.

The hanger is assembled by inserting the projections into the holes. Traction on each of the assembled parts in opposite directions allows the projections to abut on one edge of the holes. The two parts can therefore be rotated relative to each other and around an axis joining the projections.

It is therefore not necessary to use or manipulate reported fasteners such as butterflies or bolts. In addition, the production of both parts of the hanger is facilitated because of the similarity of these parts. These parts are further interchangeable, by design, that is to say that the hanger can be assembled with a fastening means such as a threaded rod via any of these parts.

Figure 1 shows a supporting structure 33 with: a hanger 10, according to the invention, comprising two U-shaped portions 11,21; and a profile 31 placed in the hanger 10. Each portion 11,21 comprises two wings 12,13,22,23 substantially parallel. By "substantially parallel" is meant that the wings are preferably not separated by an angle greater than 10 ° from the mean plane of the two wings in their equilibrium position. The base 20,30 connecting the two wings of the same part may be of any shape, for example of cylindrical or flat shape, as in the example of Figure 1. A portion 21 comprises a hole 24.25 on each of its wings and the other portion 11 comprises a projection 16,17 on each of its wings 12,13, abutting against an edge of one of the holes 24,25. Figures 1, 2 and 3 show outwardly directed projections of their respective portion but such an orientation is not mandatory for the invention. The U-shaped portions 11 and 21 are rotatably mounted relative to one another and about an axis joining the projections 16 and 17. Each of the parts may, for example, be of galvanized steel or a material having a certain elasticity and capable of supporting the mass of a ceiling multiplied by a factor of safety.

The hanger 10 is assembled by lightly pressing the two wings 12,13 of the part 11 comprising the projections 16,17, then inserting this part into the other part 21. The pressure is released when the axis of the projections 16,17 is aligned with that of the holes 24,25, that is to say when the projections are in front of the holes. The wings of the portion comprising the projections are returned to their equilibrium position, come into contact with the inner surface of the wings of the other party and the projections pass through the holes of the other party. Traction exerted on each of the assembled parts, in opposite directions, then allows the projections to abut on an edge of the holes. The two parts can therefore be rotated relative to each other and around an axis joining the projections.

The pressure due to the restoring force of the elastically deformed wings of one part against the other two wings is sufficient to allow a temporary immobilization of the two U-shaped parts. It is therefore not necessary to use or manipulate reported fasteners such as butterflies or bolts. In addition, the production of both parts of the hanger is facilitated because of the limited number and similarity of these parts. In addition, the contact between the projections and the edges of the holes allows the parts to be interchangeable, that is to say that each of the two parts can be fixed via its base to a threaded rod or any other suitable fastening means .

As in the example of Figure 1, the projections 16,17 may be beaten collars, that is to say, a projection 16 may form a tube on the outside of a wing 12, the edge is raised. It should be noted that a projection 16 can also form a tube inside a wing 12 and that in this case, the assembly of the parts 11,21 can be done by pressing the wings 22,23 of a part 21, then inserting this part 21 in the other part 11, similar to what has been described above. The lifting of the edge of a collar secures the rotation of the two parts once the neck of one part abuts against an edge of a hole of the other part, as will be explained with reference to Figure 3. A collar beaten can be obtained by stamping a wing. Thus, the projections can be obtained in one production step.

As in the example shown in FIG. 1, the holes 24, 25 may be buttonholes, that is to say larger holes at one end (hereinafter: the entrance to the buttonhole) at the other end (hereinafter: the buttonhole groove). Another way of describing the buttonhole is to compare it to the result of the partial superposition of bores of different diameters.

The buttonholes allow easy insertion of protrusions (eg, flanged collars) through the entrance of the buttonhole while the diameter of the groove is adjusted to the outer diameter of the tube formed by the flanged collar. The shape of the buttonhole can be refined to optimize the maintenance of the flanged collar in the groove. For example, it may be advantageous to provide a crenellation on the edges of the holes. It may further be advantageous to sufficiently offset the partially overlapped bores to form two flanges at their intersections. Such flanges, elastically deformable, allow to snap the collar in translation in the groove. The collar may however be disengaged from the groove by providing sufficient traction on each of the two parts.

Still with reference to FIG. 1, a U-shaped portion 11, 21 may further comprise one or more clamping holes 18, 19, 28, 29.

  • la fixation d'une partie 11 avec un moyen de fixation tel qu'une tige filetée 32 ;
  • la mise en place d'un profilé 31 avec l'autre partie 21;
  • l'assemblage des deux parties 11,21 et à l'ajustement d'un angle entre les deux parties 11,21 par rotation ;
In particular, a plurality of clamping holes located at the free end of a first wing of a portion makes it possible to ensure the presence of a hole in the vicinity of the middle of the wing of the other part in contact with the the first wing, regardless of the mutual orientation of the two U-shaped portions. A self-drilling screw 34 or any other suitable fastening means passing through one of the holes then makes it possible to fix the two parts in view of their assembly. final. Other holes 18, 19, 28, 29 arranged further inside the wings may further allow the attachment of a portion 11, 21 with a profile 31 by means of a self-drilling screw 36. In addition, providing a hole on the base 20,30 of a U-shaped portion may also be useful for fixing a portion 11,21 with a fastening means such as a threaded rod 32. Thus, it is possible to proceed, for the manufacture of a supporting structure, to:
  • fixing a portion 11 with a fastening means such as a threaded rod 32;
  • the establishment of a profile 31 with the other part 21;
  • assembling the two parts 11,21 and adjusting an angle between the two parts 11,21 by rotation;
  • the attachment of the two parts 11,21 and, where appropriate, the attachment of the section 31 with the other part 21. Of course, it is possible to proceed in a similar manner for the manufacture of a carrier structure comprising several lines.

Still with reference to FIG. 1, it may be advantageous to provide identical parts 11, 21. That is to say, the portion 11 may further comprise a hole 14,15, for example a buttonhole, on each of its wings 12,13 and the portion 21 may further comprise a projection 26,27, for example a beaten collar, on each of its wings 22,23.

Thus, the U-shaped parts require only one production line. The production, packaging and transport of the U-shaped parts are facilitated. In addition, the operator performing the manufacture of the hanger with a profile does not have to worry about the role of each party.

Figure 2 shows a U-shaped portion 11 of a hanger 10 according to the invention. This portion 11 comprises two substantially parallel wings, with on each of the wings 12,13 a hole 14,15 and a projection 16,17, the holes being opposite and the projections being opposite.

Such a portion 11 can be assembled with another part 21, identical, to obtain a hanger 10 as described above.

In particular, FIG. 2 shows an example of a U-shaped portion 11, in which each of the projections 16, 17 is a flanged collar projecting outwardly from the portion and each of the holes 14, 15 is a buttonhole, as previously described.

In this example, the portion comprises a base of flat shape and substantially perpendicular to the two wings 12, 13, as previously described. The beaten collars 16,17 are clearly visible in the figure. In particular, it is possible to distinguish the lifting of the edge of the tubes forming the base of the beaten collars.

It is between the lifting of the edge of a tube and a wing that abuts the edge of a hole or the groove of a buttonhole of another part, which facilitates the rotation of two parts when they are assembled as in the example of Figure 1.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments described but is capable of numerous variations easily accessible to those skilled in the art within the scope of the set of claims.
