Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shelf storage for motor vehicles, especially for passenger cars (cars), with a plurality of stacked and / or juxtaposed shelves, with a plurality of load-bearing platforms for receiving a motor vehicle, with at least one transfer station for loading and / or unloading Motor vehicles in which the motor vehicles are retractable via an entry opening and / or from which they can be extended via an exit opening, and with at least one transport device by means of which the load-bearing platforms can be displaced between the shelves and the transfer station.
  • Such, also referred to as automatic parking garages or underground garages shelf store enjoy especially in the inner city area of major cities increasing popularity, as they close due to a possible arrangement of parked in the warehouse vehicles close to and / or next to each other an extremely good use of available ensure standing storage space. This can also be done in the case of a limited Space to ensure the required number of parking spaces for motor vehicles. This applies on the one hand for public parking garages or underground garages, which are used by constantly changing drivers of motor vehicles, on the other hand for private garages, eg of residential buildings, which are primarily intended for permanent tenants.
  • the rack storage In rack warehouses of automatic parking garages or underground garages, however, the rack storage is not accessible even for people and the motor vehicle, after it has been retracted by the driver via the entrance opening in the transfer station, by means of the transport device, such as a traveling along columns lifting platform, automatically in a shelf with sufficient capacity transferred. If the driver wants to leave the shelf storage with his motor vehicle again, his vehicle is transferred by means of the transport device back to the same or to another, provided only for exit transfer station and the driver drives his motor vehicle through the exit opening from the shelf storage out.
