Claims (6)

  1. Electrically controlled actuating element (1) on a machine with a flange connection consisting of a mounting flange (4) and a machine flange (2) for interconnecting the actuating element and the machine, and with an electric control subsystem (6), wherein a plurality of electric switches (7.1 to 7.8; 8.1 to 8.8) is embedded in the mounting flange (4) in a predetermined geometric pattern, and each switch is arranged in an electric circuit that connects to the control subsystem (6), and in the machine flange (2) some marking points of the geometric pattern (5) mount closing elements (5) in a geometric arrangement that is characteristic of the respective machine (1) and assigned thereto, such that in an existing flange connection, the switches arranged in the respective marking points can be actuated by the closing elements, characterized in that the switches (7.1 to 7.8; 8.1 to 8.8) are reed contacts and the closing elements are magnets (5) .
  2. Actuating element of claim 1, characterized in that the closing elements (5) are permanent magnets, in particular permanent magnets with a highly directional magnetic field.
  3. Actuating element of claim 1, characterized in that the geometric pattern is subdivided into a plurality of subpatterns, and that magnets are arranged respectively in one or more points of each subpattern.

Actuating element of claim 1, characterized in that the control comprises the control subsystem (6) connected to each of the actuating elements (3) and a central control system, which is serially connected to the control subsystems, in that the respective geometric arrangement of marking points or a coding of the respective valve derived therefrom is signaled to the central control system and stored, and in that the actuation commands can be transmitted in series from the central control system to all control subsystems (6), each with the respective arrangement of the marking points and/or the coding of the addressed valve derived therefrom, and in that only that control subsystem converts the commands for actuating the actuating element (3) associated to it, which has the transmitted arrangement of marking points, or in which the coding derived therefrom is stored.
