Abstract

The invention relates to plastic double corks (1, 2) containing an additive (4) which emits oxygen. Uncorking the bottle releases the additive (4) into the contents of the bottle and enriches the same with oxygen. In this way, the wine is aerated directly before consumption, obtaining the best possible gustatory quality. The double cork (1, 2) prevents any potential residue falling from the bottle into the glass when the wine is poured.

Description

Kunststoff-Kork für Weinflaschen Plastic cork for wine bottles
The invention relates to the fact that the cork as specified in the patent automatically initiates an oxygen supply (decantation) of the wine in the bottle after opening (pulling the cork). It is suitable for closing any standard wine bottle.
Wines come to life after uncorking, so decanting is an advantage to allow the wine to breathe. This oxygen supply eliminates minor errors, such as the smell of secondary fermentation. According to Prof. Peynaud, decanting also brings about positive changes in taste.
The previously known and practiced method is to transfer the wine from the commercially available bottle into a specially shaped decanting bottle, which offers a larger surface for oxygen absorption. By breathing, wines can gain a bouquet and taste.
The object of the present invention is to replace this conventional method of decanting. With every bottle of wine, uncorking triggers a decanting process in which the oxygen contained in the cork is automatically added to the wine.
Another advantage of the invention is that any residues (tartar, etc.) collect in the bottle neck and do not get into the glass when pouring the wine. It is also guaranteed that the cork can be processed with the currently available filling machines without any problems.
Die Erfindung laut vorliegender Patentschrift, zeigt einen KunststofϊkorkenThe invention according to the present patent specification shows a plastic cork
(Fig.l bis Fig.3) , der in Verbindung mit jeder handelsüblichen Weinflasche beim Öffnen derselben automatisch einen Dekantiervorgang einleitet.(Fig. 1 to Fig. 3), which automatically initiates a decanting process in connection with every standard wine bottle when it is opened.
Der Korken besteht aus drei Teilen: Innenteil (1), Außenteil (2) und gebundenem Sauerstoff (4).The cork consists of three parts: inner part (1), outer part (2) and bound oxygen (4).
When opening the wine bottle with any corkscrew, the inner part (1) is first removed so that the oxygen (4) gets into the bottle content and there enriches the wine with oxygen (02) as required.
The outer part (2) remains in the bottle neck and, when poured into the wine glass, prevents any residues (6) from the wine bottle (5) from reaching the glass.
However, it is possible to remove the outer part (2) remaining in the bottle (5) with any corkscrew.
