Neben der Anzeige auf dem Display kann auch ein akustisches Signal abgegeben werden. Zur Sicherheit kann beispielsweise eine weitere Quittierung notwendig werden. Dieses bedeutet, dass z. B. die Person eine bestimmte Pin- Nummer über die Tastatur des Mobiltelefones eintippen muss, um eine Öffnung der Tür 6 über das Freischaltmodul 9 zu erhalten.
