Abstract
The switching on and off of a hearing aid (I) should be made more comfortable. For this purpose, it is provided that the hearing device (I) is equipped with a temperature sensor (TS) in order to detect the body heat of the hearing device wearer and thus the state inserted in the ear canal. Due to the temperature signal, the hearing aid is then switched on or switched off again. As an alternative to the temperature sensor, a pressure sensor for detecting a contact pressure of the hearing device housing on an ear canal, a resistance sensor for detecting an electrical, volume-dependent load resistance or an acoustic sensor for detecting a sound level can also be used. In addition, there is also the possibility of the hearing aid (I) with a remote wirelessly on and off.
