Claims (10)
- A display device (14) comprising
several supports (16) which can e.g. be mounted on a facade (10) of an edifice;
a plurality of groups of light-emitting diodes (27) which are provided on said several supports (16) and serve as picture points of said display device (14); and
a control unit for controlling said plurality of groups of light-emitting diodes (27),
characterized in that
said several supports (16) are each formed as an elongated profile body (18), which has a recess (20) extending in the longitudinal direction of said profile body;
said plurality of groups of light-emitting diodes (27) are mounted on several circuit boards (24), said several circuit boards (24) each being integrated in a protective mass (30); and
said several circuit boards (24) are inserted into said recesses (20) of said several supports (16) such that said plurality of groups of light-emitting diodes (27) project at least partially from said recesses (20) or face at least the outer side of the respective support (16). - The display device according to claim 1,
characterized in that
said several supports (16) further each comprise at least one fastening device (22), with which said supports (16) can be mounted on a support frame, which in turn is affixed to said facade (10) of said edifice. - The display device according to claim 2,
characterized in that
said several supports (16) are mountable by said at least one fastening device (22) on said support frame by means of clamping, press fit, bolting, gluing, welding or the like. - The display device according to any one of preceding claims,

said connection elements (36) are pin-and-socket connectors and said circuit boards (24) have corresponding terminals (34) in the area of their front ends. - The display device according to any one of preceding claims,

said circuit boards (24) have terminals (32) for electric connection and data transmission to/from said control unit in the area of at least one of their front ends. - The display device according to any one of preceding claims,

said several supports (16) are mountable such that they are pivotable about their longitudinal axes between an operating position and a non-operating position of said display device (14) and/or a sunshade device.
