Abstract

Bei einer dielektrischen Barriere-Entladungslampe ist das Entladungsgefäß (1) aus einen Außenkolben (3) und einen innerhalb des Außenkolbens angeordneten Innenkolben (4) zusammengesetzt, wodurch zwischen Innen- und Außenkolben ein mit einem Entladungsmedium gefüllter Entladungsraum (8) bebildet ist. Auf der dem Entladungsmedium abgewandten Außenseite der Wand des Innenkolbens (4) sind streifenförmige Elektroden (11) angeordnet. Da auf Innenelektroden mit dielektrischer Beschichtung sowie gasdichte Stromdurchführung verzichtet wird, vereint dieses Konzept einfache Fertigung mit Schutz der Außenelektroden, z.B. vor Berührung.
