We understand that in a safety device such as that described here, when the mixture suitable for the solubilization of inks is spread over the printed values, the inks are solubilized and the printed values become unreadable, unusable, and therefore worthless.
Claims (9)
- Security device for the transport and/or storage of notes (2) printed with printing inks of the type comprising a unit (1) for receiving these notes connected to at least one reservoir (3) of product (4) for solubilising the printing inks suitable for dispersal over the notes (2) under the control of control means (5), characterised in that this solubilising product (4) contains chlorosulphonic acid.
- Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the control means (5) are arranged to activate the operation of a pyrotechnic release means (8) connected to the reservoir (3) for dispersion of the product over the notes.
- Device according to one of Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the chemical product additionally contains hydrogen peroxide.
- Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the printed notes (2) contain PVA (polyvinyl alcohol).
- Device according to one of Claim 4, characterised in that the printed notes (2) contain 2 to 10% PVA (polyvinyl alcohol).
- Device according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that it is an automatic teller machine (ATM).
- Device according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it is a money transport container.
- Device according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it is a money storage container.
- Use of a product (4) for solubilising printing inks in a security device for the transport-and/or storage of notes printed with printing inks, characterised in that said solubilising product (4) contains chlorosulphonic acid.
