On peut cependant imaginer une douille dépourvue d'une telle échancrure 222 de sorte que la douille est complète et continue sur toute sa périphérie au niveau de son extrémité supérieure 222. Dans ce cas, le logement de retenue 225 n'est formé qu'à l'intérieur de la douille par les parois 224 des deux brides 223. Sur les figures, on ne voit qu'un seul logement de retenue 225, mais on peut très bien prévoir plusieurs logement de retenue 225 répartis par exemple de manière équidistante sur la périphérie de la douille 22. La frette d'habillage 3 comprend ici un fut parfaitement cylindrique 31 présentant une extrémité inférieure 32 et une extrémité supérieure 33. Le diamètre interne du fût 31 est avantageusement égal ou très légèrement inférieur au diamètre externe maximal de la bague de fixation 2. Ainsi, le fût 31 de la frette 3 peut être engagé avec un contact de frottement serrant autour de la bague de fixation 2, pour réaliser une fixation primaire.
