Abstract

La présente invention concerne une combinaison piston-chambre comprenant une chambre allongée qui est entourée par une paroi de chambre interne, et comprenant un piston disposé dans ladite chambre pour pouvoir se déplacer de façon étanche par rapport à ladite paroi de chambre au moins entre un premier emplacement longitudinal et un second emplacement longitudinal de la chambre. Selon l'invention: ladite chambre présente des sections transversales dont les aires de section transversale et les longueurs circonférentielles sont différentes au niveau du premier et du second emplacement longitudinal, et les aires de section transversale et les longueurs circonférentielles diffèrent de façon au moins sensiblement continue en des emplacements longitudinaux intermédiaires situés entre le premier et le second emplacement longitudinal, l'aire de section transversale et la longueur circonférentielle au niveau dudit second emplacement longitudinal étant inférieures à l'aire de section transversale et à la longueur circonférentielle au niveau dudit premier emplacement longitudinal; ledit piston comprend un réservoir à déformation élastique qui donne des aires de section transversale et des longueurs circonférentielles différentes au piston, ce qui lui permet de s'adapter auxdites différentes aires de section transversale et longueurs circonférentielles de la chambre au cours des mouvements relatifs du piston entre le premier et le second emplacement longitudinal en passant par lesdits emplacements longitudinaux intermédiaires de la chambre. Le piston est produit pour que son réservoir ait une taille de production dans l'état où il ne subit ni contrainte, ni déformation, pour laquelle la longueur circonférentielle du piston est approximativement équivalente à la longueur circonférentielle de ladite chambre au niveau dudit second emplacement longitudinal, le réservoir pouvant être étendu à partir de sa taille de production dans une direction transversale à la direction longitudinale de la chambre, ce qui permet l'expansion du piston à partir de sa taille de production au cours des mouvements relatifs qu'il effectue dudit second emplacement longitudinal audit premier emplacement longitudinal.
