Abstract

The fan has two blades (1), and a hub including two flanges (2) for fixing the blades on the hub. Two companion flanges (3) are associated with the flanges (2) and include notches. A clamping device (4) is utilized for clamping each blade between the flanges and the companion flanges through a screw (5), where both the flanges (2, 3) are formed by injection molding.

  1. Fan comprising:
    - at least two blades (1),
    - a hub (9) containing at least two flanges (2) for fixing the blades (1) to the hub,

    - a clamping device (4) to hold each blade (1) between a flange (2) and the associated counterflange (3),
    characterised in that the flanges are tilted in relation to the axis of rotation (X) of the hub, each generally extending in a plane in which the normal is not parallel to the axis of rotation.
  2. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the clamping device (4) contains at least one screw (5).
  3. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the screw (5) is self-forming.
  4. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the hub (9) is monolithic.
  5. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the hub (9) is produced by injection, particularly of aluminium.
  6. Fan according to any of claims 1 to 3, in which the hub is non monolithic and in particular consists of a plurality of sections.
  7. Fan according to the foregoing claim, in which at least one flange and the associated section are monolithic.
  8. Fan according to claim 6, in which the hub consists of two generally discoid hub halves.
  9. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the counterflange (3) is monolithic and is obtained by injection, particularly of aluminium,
  10. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that it contains between 2 and 12, or between 4 and 10, particularly between 5 and 8 blades.
  11. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that it contains 7 blades.
  12. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the flange (2) has a hole (10) with an axis perpendicular to the plane of the flange.
  13. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the clamping device (4) contains a single screw (5) for each blade.
  14. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the clamping device contains at least one washer (6) inserted between a head of the screw (5) and the flange (2).
  15. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the flange contains a recess (11) to take the washer (6).
  16. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the counterflange (3) contains a body (27) arranged to engage in a hole (10) in the flange (2).
  17. Fan according to either of the two foregoing claims, characterised in that the counterflange (3) contains on its inner face (26) a first relief (28) configured to cooperate with a second relief (14) formed on the opposite face (13) of the flange (2).
  18. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the first relief (28) is a reinforcement.
  19. Fan according to either of the two foregoing claims, characterised in that the first relief (28) has a non-symmetrical revolving form.
  20. Fan according to any of claims 17 to 19, characterised in that the first relief (28) has tilted sides (32).
  21. Fan according to any of claims 17 to 20, characterised in that the second relief (14) has a generally truncated pyramidal form, particularly four-sided.
  22. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the counterflange (3) has an outer face (29) rounded outwards.
  23. Fan according to any of the foregoing claims, characterised in that the counterflange (3) contains two opposite notches (30).
  24. Fan according to the foregoing claim, characterised in that the counterflange (3) is generally diamond shaped and in that the two notches (30) are arranged approximately on a diagonal of the diamond.
