Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of safety devices for people operating in an environment with a body of water in which people are likely to drown.
  • the present invention relates more particularly to safety devices adapted to detect the immersion of a person and to deliver an alarm signal to a third person able to rescue said immersed person.
  • the present invention finds a particularly advantageous application in the field of monitoring children on boats or swimming pools, the sea, etc.
  • the patent US 6,157,303 describes a security system comprising a portable security device intended to be worn by the body of the person or by his clothes.
  • This portable security device comprises a power source, a capacitive sensor sensitive to water connected to a control circuit capable of delivering a control signal when detecting the immersion of the sensor.
  • a control circuit controls a transmitter adapted to transmit an immersion alarm signal in the event of detection of the immersion of the portable device.
  • Such a security system is also composed of a fixed receiving station comprising a power source, alarm means, and a receiver for the signals transmitted by the portable security device.
  • Such a receiver is connected to a control unit controlling the operation of the alarm means when receiving an alarm signal produced by the portable security device.
  • the patent US 5,650,770 describes an alarm system comprising a security transmitter device intended to be worn by a person especially around his waist.
  • a fixed receiving station triggers an alarm when the safety transmitter is distant a certain distance from the fixed receiving station.
  • the device described by this patent has the same drawbacks as the security system described by the patent. US 6,157,303 .
  • US-4,549,169 also describes an alarm system in case of removal of a person .
  • US-5,627,520 describes the detection of the opening of a collar.
  • the Applicant has therefore highlighted the need for a system for detecting the immersion of persons who can infallibly ensure its safety function taking into account the conditions of use of the portable security device.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to satisfy this need by proposing a system according to claim 1.
  • the conductive armature is connected to a capacitor having an electric charge controlled by the control circuit.
  • control circuit makes it possible to detect the closing of the collar so that when the closure of the collar is detected, the control circuit controls the transmitter in order to transmit the cyclic signal of 'identification.
