Abstract
Eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines Luft/Kohlenwasserstoff-Gemischs umfasst eine Zerstäubungsanordnung (10) mit einer Kohlenwasserstoff-Zuführung (14) und einer Luftzuführung (16, 18, 20) zum Erzeugen des Luft/Kohlenwasserstoff-Gemischs durch Zerstäubung von flüssigem Kohlenwasserstoff. In einem ersten Luftströmungsführungs-Element (22) ist eine Heizanordnung (37) vorgesehen, mit der an der Oberfläche (26) des ersten Luftströmungsführungs-Elements (22) aufgebrachter Kohlenwasserstoff (28) erwärmt werden kann. Der erwärmte und somit weniger viskose Kohlenwasserstoff (28) wird durch entsprechende Luftströmungen, die durch die Luftströmungs-Raumbereiche (18, 20) erzeugt werden, zu einer Zerstäuberlippe (30) bewegt und dort zerstäubt, so dass ein zur Verbrennung oder Reformierung geeignetes Luft/Kohlenwasserstoff-Gemisch entsteht. An apparatus for producing an air / hydrocarbon mixture comprises a spray arrangement (10) having a hydrocarbon feed (14) and an air feed (16, 18, 20) for generating the air / hydrocarbon mixture by atomization of liquid hydrocarbon. A heater assembly (37) is provided in a first air flow guide member (22) for heating hydrocarbon (28) applied to the surface (26) of the first air flow guide member (22). The warmed and thus less viscous hydrocarbon (28) is moved and atomized to a nebulizer lip (30) by respective air flows generated by the air flow space regions (18, 20) so that an air suitable for combustion or reforming is used. Hydrocarbon mixture is formed.
