  • the dimension is given by the statistical particle size distribution to half the population, called D50.
  • a pump other than a diaphragm pump can be used.
  • the use of a membrane pump is preferred when the micro-abrasion device is intended for the general public, since such a pump can be manufactured at a cost compatible with large-scale distribution.
  • the cartridge can still be produced differently.
  • the cartridge can be produced by assembling two tanks joined together, for example by snap-fastening, welding, in particular by ultrasound, or bonding or by a support member.
  • the two reservoirs can in particular be made each with a flat wall and joined by these walls.
  • the two tanks can also be manufactured with a common part coming from molding and comprising a film hinge making it possible to modify the configuration of this common part after demolding, to form the cartridge.
  • the two tanks can be arranged side by side or one inside the other.
  • At least one of the reservoirs can be made with a transparent window allowing the user to view the level of the powder contained inside.
  • the cartridge can be equipped with at least one valve intended to prevent an outlet of powder during the handling of the cartridge for its installation or its removal from the device.
  • the sampling orifice 22 can also be produced on a nozzle 140 intended to penetrate into the reservoir 10 containing the powder, as is the case of the variant embodiment illustrated in FIG. 22.
  • the sampling tube 20 present inside the reservoir 10 is attached to the partition 41 and has a lower opening in which the end piece 140 can engage, the latter belonging to the base station 2 by example.
  • Such an arrangement facilitates the production of the sampling tube in one piece with a wall of the reservoir 10, since the sampling orifice 22 is present on the nozzle 140 manufactured separately.
  • the base station 2 comprises a base 150 comprising a stud 151 provided with a housing 152 for receiving the cartridge 5.
  • This stud 151 also includes a recess 153 receiving the handpiece 3 in the absence of use of the device.

  • the base station 2 comprises a bowl 154 which defines around the stud 151 a housing of generally annular shape 155, which makes it possible to accommodate the flexible when the handpiece 3 is in place on the stud 151, this flexible having not been shown in figure 26 to improve the clarity of the drawing.
  • the front part of the bowl is also provided with two openings 159 each for example of outline generally in an arc of circle allowing to accommodate the handpiece in transverse position.
  • a cover 157 is articulated on the bowl 154, this cover 157 being able to be folded down on the handpiece 3 when the latter is in place in the recess 153.
  • the base 150 can be constituted by the assembly of a lower plate 150a and a cover 150b, as can be seen in FIG. 29, the plate 150a being able to be produced by molding with housings making it possible to accommodate a filter and a pump.
  • the handpiece is shown in isolation in FIG. 30. It can be seen that it has a connector 160 which is held by the two shells 71 when these are assembled and which has end pieces 161 and 162 for connecting the powder supply and return pipes as well as two nozzles 163 and 164, communicating respectively with the nozzles 161 and 162, and engaged inside the end nozzle 72.
  • the latter can be produced with a shape allowing it to snap onto the connector 160 and / or the shells 71 once these have been assembled.
  • the handpiece can also include a grommet 166 allowing the outlet of the connection hose to the base station.
  • the sampling tube 20 can be produced in two parts, namely an upper part 170 produced integrally by molding of material with the partition 41 separating the tanks 10 and 11 and a lower part or connection sleeve 171, attached to the upper part 170, provided with the lateral orifice 22.
  • the sleeve 171 has been shown in isolation in FIG. 34 and it can be seen that it comprises at its upper end a nozzle 174 arranged to penetrate into the upper part 170 of the sampling tube.

  • a nozzle 180 for collecting the powder integral with the base station, penetrates inside the sleeve 171.
  • This nozzle 180 may have a bevelled end, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 33, in order to tear off a cover where appropriate, this cover being for example welded or glued to the corresponding opening of the reservoir 10.
  • the material in which the sleeve 171 is produced can be chosen for example so as to favor obtaining a contact seal with the upper part 170 of the sampling tube and with the sampling end piece 180.
  • the cartridge can be produced by molding without the sleeve 171 then the latter introduced into the interior of the cartridge, the lateral orifice 22 being produced by molding with the sleeve 171.
  • the bottom of the housing 152 receiving the cartridge 5 is advantageously provided with a sealing part 185, not visible in FIGS. 31 and 33 and shown schematically and partially in FIGS. 35 and 36, for example a disc of an elastomer such as a silicone polymer, comprising openings 186 for the passage of the different connection ends of the base station 2 to the cartridge 5 and against which the cartridge 5 can be applied when the latter is in place on the base station 2.
  • the cartridge can be arranged to snap through at least one relief of the base station, so as to ensure in the snapped-in position a certain crushing of the sealing part.
  • Grooves can for example be arranged on the periphery of the cartridge, so as to face complementary outgrowths of the base station and so as to carry out a function of holding in position of the cartridge which thus ensures crushing of the sealing part 185.
  • the sealing part 185 can be produced with a shape contributing to obtaining a seal.
  • the sealing part 185 may comprise, for example, around each end piece for connecting the base station to the cartridge, at least one annular groove 187 against which a complementary lip 188 produced on the cartridge 5 can be applied, so as to obtain a sufficient seal for correct operation of the device.
  • the invention is not limited to a particular way of obtaining a sealed connection.
  • a removable elastomeric sealing piece may not be necessary, and the sealing piece can be permanently fixed, for example to the cartridge or the base station.
  • the cartridge and / or the base station can receive an elastomer coating deposited by dipping or spraying or else overmolded, for example by a bi-material injection technique.
  • FIG. 37 illustrates the possibility of making the cartridge 5 with a connection sleeve 171 mounted with a possibility of sliding relative to the upper part 170 of the sampling tube 20.
  • the sleeve 171 can in particular be movable between a position shown at Figure 37, in which it prevents the powder P from flowing through the lower opening of the reservoir 10 of the cartridge 5 and a retracted position in which the sleeve 171 has slid inside the upper part 170, against the 'return action of a spring 189 for example.
  • the sleeve 171 is raised when the cartridge is placed on the base station, the nozzle 180 pushing the sleeve 171.
  • the latter can be produced with at least one relief such as a tooth 190, capable of crossing by elastic deformation the lower opening of the tank

  • the latter defines an opening whose dimension can vary depending on the relative positioning of the upper part of the sampling tube and of the sleeve 171, the latter being produced in the example illustrated with the slot 192.
  • the sleeve 171 is for example arranged to be screwed inside the upper part 170, so as to allow adjustment in the factory or by the user of the section of the lateral orifice 22, to control for example the flow of the powder which is sucked up.
  • the lateral orifice 22 can be produced differently, for example on a shoulder of the sampling tube 20, as illustrated in FIG. 39.
