Abstract

Die Erfindung schafft ein Verfahren zum Verspannen von Funktionselementen, insbesondere PTC-Heizelementen (2), in einem hohlen Aufnahmemittel (1), wie einem Profilrohr. Das Aufnahmemittel (1) besitzt zwei einander und Flachseiten der Funktionselemente gegenüberliegende, zumindest teilweise konkave Deckwand-Bereiche (1.2,1.3) und ermöglicht auf diese Weise ein Verspannen der Funktionselemente (2), indem Seitenwände (1.7,1.8) des Aufnahmemittels (1), die sich im wesentlichen senkrecht zu den konkaven Deckwand-Bereichen (1.2,1.3) erstrecken, mit einem Verpressdruck beaufschlagt werden. In die durch die konkaven Deckwände definierten freien Raumbereiche lassen sich Enden von Ansatzteilen, wie Metall-Lamellen, einbringen, die erfindungsgemäß beim Verspannen der Funktionselemente im selben Arbeitsgang mit eingeklemmt werden. Auf diese Weise lassen sich erfindungsgemäß in einfacher Weise zusammengesetzte Vorrichtungen, insbesondere elektrische Heizeinrichtungen, herstellen.
