Abstract

Es wird ein wärmeempfindliches Aufzeichnungsmaterial vorgeschlagen mit einem bahnförmigen Substrat,
  • wobei das bahnförmige Substrat auf seiner ersten Seite eine wärmeempfindliche Aufzeichnungsschicht mit
    • (i) mindestens einem Farbstoffvorläufer und mindestens einem Farbakzeptor als unter Einwirkung von Wärme farbbildend miteinander reagierende Komponenten,
    • (ii) mindestens einem Pigment und
    • (iii) mindestens einem Bindemittel
  • sowie eine die wärmeempfindliche Aufzeichnungsschicht abdeckende Schutzschicht trägt
  • und wobei das bahnförmige Substrat auf seiner der ersten Seite gegenüberliegenden zweiten Seite eine pigmenthaltige Rückseitenbeschichtung trägt,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
  • o der Anteil an unter Einwirkung von Wärme farbbildend miteinander reagierenden Komponenten in der wärmeempfindlichen Aufzeichnungsschicht in einem Bereich von 35 bis 58 Gew.-% (atro) liegt, und
  • o das Verhältnis von Pigment in Gew.-% (atro) zu Bindemittel in Gew.-% (atro) in der wärmeempfindlichen Aufzeichnungsschicht in einem Bereich von 0,5:1 bis 1,5:1 liegt.
