Abstract
Description
Statische Mischvorrichtungen sowie mit solchen statischen Mischvorrichtungen zu verwendende Austragvorrichtungen für insbesondere viskose Fluide sind in grosser Vielzahl seit langer Zeit bekannt:Static mixing devices and with such static mixing devices to be used discharge devices for particular Viscous fluids have been in great numbers for a long time known:
From the document EP-B1-0 495 169 is a static mixing device known which built up from layered plates is. This fluid flows through the individual plate levels passed, with the plates each interconnected Have channels. Passages on different Layers of the plates are each offset from one another.
A built-up of perforated plates, static mixer is Also known from US 3,856,270. Another static mixer with serpentine-type liquid flow is disclosed in US 4,222,671 shown. In these two systems, the fluid flow is along the mixer repeatedly divided and rejoined. Static mixing devices of the type mentioned are often together with discharge devices, especially for two-component reactive mixtures such as. Adhesives used. such Dischargers are for single and multi-component system known for multi-component systems both separate cartridges as well as combined storage containers such as. Multi-chamber tubular bag can be used.
From WO 01/44074, for example, such a discharge device known. Here, however, is an adapter for separate guidance the components between storage container and static mixer provided, whereby weight, height and manageability of the discharge are impaired overall.
Weitere derartige oder ähnliche Austragvorrichtungen sind u.a. aus EP-A1-0 665 063, US 3,323,682 und EP-B1-0 787 661 bekannt.Other such or similar dispensing devices are u.a. from EP-A1-0 665 063, US 3,323,682 and EP-B1-0 787 661.
A disadvantage of the known static mixing devices, that at relatively low height only insufficient mixing is effected. Known static mixing devices on the other hand, which achieve acceptable mixing Such a large height, that the handling in particular together with a discharge device of the aforementioned Art is impaired.
It is therefore an object of the invention to overcome the disadvantages of the known to avoid, in particular so a static mixing device to create what is simple and possible with known Can be produced means which largely reduced in height is and still has improved mixing properties having. It is another object of the invention to provide a mixing device suitable for use with Conventional discharge devices, such as those for single and Multi-component systems are known, as well as suitable To improve the handling of such a system.
The objects mentioned are achieved according to the invention by a static mixing device, a storage container, a discharge device and a method and a use according to the independent claims.
A static mixing device according to the invention includes at least a first mixing element, which on a front side a plurality of in particular parallel channels transversely, in particular orthogonal to the main flow direction, the channels are not connected to each other, but passages in the main flow direction. By the arrangement of the channels transverse to the main flow direction is a distraction or division the flow causes. This is preferably done by an orthogonal Arrangement, but of course are not rechtwinklige Arrangements possible. In addition, at least one second, in contact with the first mixing element in contact mixing element provided, which on a front side a plurality in particular parallel channels transversely, in particular orthogonal to the main flow direction, wherein the channels with each other are connected. Especially in side walls of these channels openings are provided which the passage of a medium in the main flow direction. On a back of the second Mixing element are a plurality of particular parallel channels arranged orthogonal to the main flow direction, which together are not connected. Of course, both in the first and the second mixing element in addition to a parallel Arrangement of the channels also other arrangements possible, in particular concentrically arranged arcuate channels. Surprisingly, it has been shown that by two such differently shaped mixing elements significantly improved Mixing can be achieved than this at a same number of mixing elements with other known mixing elements is possible. The height of such a static Mixing device is therefore reducible, because for a sufficient Mixing fewer mixing elements are arranged have to. As a result, beyond that, the achievable final weight such a device further reducible. A total of The handling of such a device is therefore enormous simplified, especially when used with a discharge device, as will be described below.
Here and in the following, channels are one with another mixing element in contact with the mixing element, if an exchange of fluids between the concerned Canals in particular through the side walls is possible. Below the main flow direction becomes here and in the following with straight static mixing devices the direction along the Longitudinal axis between the inlet and outlet of the medium understood. Of course, however, for example. Curved mixing devices possible; in such a case follows the Main flow direction of the curvature of the mixing device. Under the The front of a mixing element is here and in the following Side understood which the inlet for the substances to be mixed is facing. Under a back of a mixing element is here and in the following understood the side, which the Outlet for the substances to be mixed faces.
- Die Durchtrittsöffnungen benachbarter Kanäle sind jeweils in gegenüberliegenden Hälften der Vorderseite des Mischelements angeordnet;
- Auf einer Vorderseite sind die Kanäle miteinander durch einen gemeinsamen Verbindungskanal verbunden, welcher derart angeordnet ist, dass seine Lage im wesentlichen einem rückseitigen Bereich entspricht, welcher frei von Durchtrittsöffnungen ist;
- Im Bereich zwischen einer ersten Seite des Verbindungskanals und einer Aussenkante des zweiten Mischelements sind Durchtritte angeordnet, welche nicht in Verbindung mit den vorderseitigen Kanälen stehen;
- The passage openings of adjacent channels are each arranged in opposite halves of the front side of the mixing element;
- In a central region of all channels no passages are arranged.
- On a front side, the channels are connected to each other by a common connecting channel, which is arranged such that its position substantially corresponds to a rear area, which is free of passage openings;
- In the region between a first side of the connecting channel and an outer edge of the second mixing element passages are arranged, which are not in communication with the front side channels;
- In the region between a second side of the connecting channel and an outer edge of the second mixing element passage openings are provided, which are in communication with the channels.
In a further preferred embodiment, the first and second mixing elements arranged alternately. By a such alternate arrangement of the different mixing elements the mixing effect can be further improved. Under one alternating arrangement are particularly preferred here Understood arrangements in which no first (or second) Mixing element directly adjacent to another, first (or second) mixing element is arranged. As variants of such but alternating arrangement are, for example, also in groups alternating arrangements possible, ie such arrangements, in those on a certain number of a first mixing element one Number of second mixing elements follows.
In a further embodiment, the first and second Mixing elements designed as stackable plates. such Plates are, for example, in the plastic injection molding process especially easy to produce and with known means. The stackability can be effected by various means, for example. by mutually especially specifically compatible areas adjacent Plates, in particular elevations and depressions. It is particularly preferred that the plates outside round, in particular formed with the same outer diameter are.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the related first and second mixing elements by a certain angle on a similar to both mixing elements, comparable structural feature stacked against each other. Especially Preferably, the respective next mixing element is in this case relative to the preceding mixing element to this particular Angle twisted. This changes in particular the Direction of rotation to be twisted around the individual mixing elements, not along the static mixer. This can the achievable mixing can be further improved.
In a further, particularly preferred embodiment follows a second mixing element on a first mixing element in Main flow direction, the channels of this previous first Mixing element parallel to the back channels of the second Mixing element are arranged. In addition, a first mixing element follows to a second mixing element in the main flow direction, wherein the channels of this following, first mixing element by an angle of 90 ° against the channels on the back of the second mixing element are aligned twisted.
It is particularly advantageous and preferred that the sequence of Mixing elements in pairs Arrangements of the first and second mixing elements includes, wherein in each of the paired arrangements the channels of the first mixing element parallel to the back Channels of the second mixing element are aligned, however in the main flow direction the channels of a following, pairwise Arrangement in each case with respect to a preceding arrangement order an angle of 90 ° are arranged twisted.
In addition, the mixing elements can be means for anti-rotation Stack especially at an angle of 90 ° or one have even multiples of 90 °. Especially preferred are in particular in an edge region of the mixing elements Cam arranged in a stack of mixing elements are compatible with wells of adjacent mixing elements. This can easily be a non-rotating stacking with the greatest possible remaining flexibility in the construction guaranteed become.
According to a further, particularly advantageous embodiment of the The invention is in the main flow direction before a first mixing element an input piece and / or in the main flow direction to one last mixing element provided an end piece. By such Input piece can effectively relax the particular pressed under pressure from a storage container, to be mixed Components are effected so that a first mixing element is flowed flat. In addition, a pre-allocation the fluid flow to the particular on opposite Side adjacent channels arranged passage openings of a first mixing element can be effected. An end piece may be preferred for merging the fluid flow at an outlet opening be applied; Of course you can also at one such end piece further means, in particular baffles provided be, which serve the mixing.
Advantageously, the mixing elements and possibly the input piece and / or the tail in a sleeve in particular interchangeable arranged. This can simplify both the production as well as for special applications the interchangeability caused by mixing elements. It is further preferred that the sleeve in particular reversible with a connector for Connection is closed with a discharge device and / or lockable. This can happen in particular, for example, to screw and / or plug connections, but also act clamping connections; preferred are screw connections used.
A mixing device of the type mentioned is advantageously used for mixing at least two in a storage container with at least two compartments stored substances, wherein the mixing device releasably or firmly on the storage container or a discharge device can be arranged or arranged is. Such storage containers are especially in Klebund Sealants usually intended for single use, so after emptying not refillable. Especially for the applications mentioned are the static mixing devices often also not reusable. advantageously, Therefore, such storage containers already in particular firmly connected to such a static mixing device be manufactured and sold, which is the handling for the end user by reduced manipulation need again simplified.
Another aspect of the invention thus relates to a storage container, in particular a multi-chamber tubular bag with at least two compartments, with a mixing device in particular the type described above releasably or firmly with the Reservoir is connectable or connected. Such a connection can in particular causes manufacturing and irreversible his. However, it is also possible, in particular plug-in, Provide screw and / or clamping connections. It is also in the The greatest possible reduction in the height, a substantially direct connection between the outlet of the storage container and the static mixer to ensure, so if possible on adapters or similar to renounce.
An additional aspect of the invention also relates to a discharge device to omit at least two to be mixed Substances from an either combined storage container with at least two compartments, or several separate storage containers. These may be in particular parallel or coaxial double cartridge systems. Such discharge devices are in different versions, in particular pneumatically or manually operated, available on the market, for example from Mixpac (System 400) or PC Cox Ltd. (RBA 200B). In particular, multi-chamber tubular bag systems can be used become. The outlet of the or the storage containers is connectable or connected with a static mixing device. Such discharge devices are in particular also for one-component systems well known, e.g. MK Maskinsfabrik (TS 485 X). In the course of the present invention is particular advantageous that a substantially direct connection of the Reservoir provided with the static mixing device can be. From the prior art, in particular the WO 01/44074 are problems of insufficient mixing with static Mixing devices are known, the i.d.R. by a separate one Guide the components to be mixed before the actual Mixed system can be overcome at least partially. However, this results in an undesirable extension of ready-to-use discharge device, whereby the handling is deteriorating. By a static mixing device according to The present invention is such a separate task components on the mixing device not necessary. So it can be a substantially direct connection between the outlet of a storage container and the static mixer be prepared without this being negative would affect the mix result. "Essentially direct" means in this context, that technically no distance between storage container and static mixing device necessary to achieve the mixing; this concludes However, that does not matter if necessary due to the modular design and / or possibly necessary sealing elements etc. a slight Spacing can result.
The inventive method for discharging at least two substances to be mixed, in particular from a storage container with at least two compartments is so distinguished characterized in that the mixture of substances substantially exclusively by a static mixing device, in particular as described above, takes place. "Essentially" means here, that possibly further mixture outside the static Mixing device can be done, but this for the respective Application not of superficial importance is. In this case, in the context of the invention, in particular also additional Application nozzles or similar usable, which in addition to the focus the mixture to be applied, if necessary, a further mixture could cause.

Zeitpunkten gemessenen Zugscherfestigkeiten miteinander
verglichen.
eine Länge von 217mm auf (s.o.).From the determined tensile shear strengths it can be seen that
