Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil d'usinage par enlèvement de copeaux, notamment un outil à fraiser, comportant un support (10) dans lequel se trouve un logement (12) pour un élément de coupe (14) doté d'une partie usinage (16) et d'une partie fixation (18). La partie fixation (18) comprend un pied (20) qui est placé dans le logement (12) en position de réception (22) et qui, lorsqu'il est tourné en position d'enclenchement (26), s'engrène sous au moins un épaulement de retenue (26) du logement (12), pouvant ainsi être utilisé avec l'élément de coupe (14) pour l'usinage par enlèvement de copeaux. Il est donc possible de fixer cet élément de coupe sans moyens de retenue supplémentaire, tels qu'une vis de fixation ou autre pièce analogue, sa simple insertion dans le logement et sa mise en position d'enclenchement par rotation constituant un procédé de fixation fiable. Et inversement, la libération dudit élément de coupe de sa position d'enclenchement et son extraction hors du logement nécessitant peu de force.
