Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of sliding sports, and more especially to snowboarding. It is aimed in particular at special arrangements of a surf binding. These arrangements allow a user-friendly adjustment of the position of the rollbar and / or the gutter relative to the base.
- a surfboard attachment comprises a base which is intended to be secured to the upper face of the gliding board. This base receives frequently a rear arch, which supports a gutter configured to receive back support exercised by the user. Sometimes the gutter is directly articulated on the base itself.
- the need is felt to allow a position adjustment longitudinal axis of the arch, or the position either in inclination or in rotation of the gutter with respect to the arch, or even the longitudinal position of the gutter relative to the base.
- this adjustment is effected by means of a mechanism manually operated which comprises a manipulation lever associated with a cam or eccentric system. So, depending on the position of the lever of manipulation, an effort is exerted to flatten or not a zone of the part mobile, on the area facing the fixed part, and typically the hoop on the base, or abutment with respect to the gutter.
- a problem which the invention proposes to solve is therefore that to increase the security of the locking of the moving parts with respect to the parts while allowing manual maneuvering without the need for tools.
- the invention therefore relates to a snowboard binding, which comprises two movable parts relative to each other, and typically the hoop by relative to the base, or the gutter with respect to the arch, or even the stop inclination with respect to the gutter.
- This fastener comprises, in known manner, an actuating mechanism manual, allowing the adjustment in position and the blocking of the two parts, one for report to the other.
- this mechanism comprises a lever of manipulation, articulated with respect to a clevis, and an articulated element relative to the lever, which is able to move under the effect of the movement of the lever of locking.
- This element can therefore move to allow or block the moving the parts relative to each other.
- the invention consists in producing a locking mechanism of which an element forms a locking piece, which penetrates inside one of the parts of the binding, for example the hoop, in such a way that it is impossible to this moving part to move relative to the other fixed part, namely the base, even with a very high level of effort.
- This locking piece can then be extracted from the moving part, with a movement therefore perpendicular to the movement of movement authorized by the following between the moving parts relative to each other.
- This locking piece can then be moved again, so as to cooperate with a housing, or more generally an area ensuring its engagement with the party mobile.
- the element articulated with respect to the lever is guided in its translational movement in the clevis via a first light guide provided in the screed.
- This first light is thus parallel to moving movement of the locking piece, and therefore perpendicular to the surface of the movable part into which the locking piece penetrates.
- the yoke comprises a second guiding light, guiding in rotation the manipulation lever.
- the locking piece is suitable to move between and a position in which it is retracted, and a position in which it is engaged in a housing selected from a plurality of housing.
- housings are made in the part of the fixing which is movable compared to the one whose clevis is solidary.
- This manipulation lever comprises a zone receiving a guided part in translation which is extended by the locking piece.
- the relative geometry of two guide lights of the yoke thus causes the displacement of the piece of lock during rotation of the handling lever.
- this locking piece can adopt different geometries.
- this locking piece can be formed by an ergot, preferably having a section of general shape cylindrical.
- the housings made in the mobile part can advantageously overlap partially and communicate.
- the ergot can then advantageously comprise two distinct sections, namely a first section complementary shape housing, and a second section, lower dimensions allowing transverse passage to an adjacent housing.
- the displacement of the spigot retracts the widest portion of the lug, while leaving engaged the smaller section of the lug, which can pass from one dwelling to another by simple translation.
- the locking piece can be provided with teeth, intended to come into contact with additional dwellings located on the moving part. In this way, the number of teeth on the moving part being greater, the locking piece can occupy several different positions corresponding each at a setting position of the moving part.
- the locking mechanism can be designed in such a way that the pin is screwed in a room that is on the one hand, guided in translation in the first light of the yoke, and secondly, mounted in rotation relative to the manipulation lever. In this way, it is possible to ensure the mounting of the pin after mounting the clevis and lever manipulation, by the opposite side to that of the lever. This screwing capacity also makes it possible to adjust the game taken by the spur as and when measurement of manipulations.
- the end of the pin may include a fingerprint allowing screw this pin with a tool, during assembly or maintenance.
- the locking piece may have a face facing one of the attachment part, with which it cooperates to ensure the locking of both parts of the fixation.
- this face of the yoke is provided with teeth intended to engage with complementary housing located on the movable part of the fastener.
- this adjustment system can be arranged to allow the adjustment the rear arch or gutter relative to the base, thanks to one or more handling levers, arranged on one or both sides of the base.
- the gutter, and more particularly its points of articulation with respect to the hoop can also be made adjustable by the invention.
- This same mechanism can also be used to allow adjustment the stop ensuring the inclination limitation of the rear gutter.
- this abutment is integral or formed by a portion of the yoke. This screed is then mobile compared to the gutter, considered the fixed part.
- the fastener (1) illustrated in FIG. base (2) which is intended to be secured to the surfboard, for example to means of a central disk (not shown) cooperating with an opening (3) performed in the central part of the base (2).
- This base (2) has two lateral flanks (4, 5) rising from each side of the base, and each equipped with a slot (6, 7) inside which can slide one of the front ends (11, 12) of the rear bow (10).
- the ends (11, 12) of the latter are equipped with an elongated light (13) longitudinally, which comprises a plurality of housings (15) of generally circular shape.
- these housings are of a shape general circular and are separated by a distance less than their diameter, from so that they overlap and communicate partially.
- housings (15) can also be made directly inside the light (13) formed in the arch (10).
- the locking mechanism (20) as illustrated in an exploded manner in FIG. essentially comprises a clevis (21) which is integral with the base, and which has two guide lights (22, 23).
- This screed (21) receives a spur of lock (25), which is integral with an intermediate piece (26), of shape generally cylindrical, having two cleats (27) for guiding at its flat faces (28).
- These guide catches (27) are able to slide in a first guiding light (23) made in the yoke (21).
- This intermediate piece (26) is disposed inside a housing cylindrical (31) of complementary shape, formed in the manipulation lever (30).
- This lever (30) partially penetrates into the yoke (21) and is articulated by compared to the latter by means of an axis of rotation (33) itself penetrating into a second guiding light (22) substantially perpendicular to the first guiding light (23).
- FIG. Figure 2 The entire arch (10) and the two locking mechanisms are illustrated in FIG. Figure 2.
- the mechanism (20 ') shown towards the front is in the retracted position, the opposite mechanism (20 ") being in the locked position.
- the lug is screwed into a tapping (29) made in the intermediate piece (26).
- This screwing can be done thanks to the impression (35) formed in the end of the lug (25), and which is apparent at light (36) formed in the lateral face (4) of the base and illustrated in FIG. Figure 1.
- the latter comprises an opening (37) allowing let the portion (38) of the lug (25) opposite its cooperating zone (36) pass with the housing of the arch.
- the pin (25) comprises in its portion (36) cooperating with the housing two different sections.
- the first section (40) located closest to the lever (30) has a larger diameter important and which corresponds to the diameter of the housings (15) made in the arch (10).
- the end portion (41) of the lug has a diameter slightly lower, corresponding to the space separating the walls delimiting the housings (15) of the arch. In this way, the extremal portion (41) of the lug (25) can move from one dwelling to another, when as shown in 6, the lug (25) is in the retracted position.
- This arrangement makes it possible in particular to prevent the arch (10) from disengaging of the base (2) unexpectedly, without resorting to a stop mechanism making integral part of the shape of the arch.
- FIG. 3 illustrates a configuration of the fastening during an operation of setting.
- the mechanism (20 ) shown in the upper part is in the locked position, such that the lug (25 ") is as illustrated in FIG. 5 in its the most prominent position, thus penetrating into the dwellings of the arch (10) by its section of larger diameter.
- cylindrical shape is of course the simplest to realize but polygonal or other shapes can be adapted.
- the locking piece can also adopt other geometries, and particularly those illustrated in Figures 7 and 8, corresponding to a system of adjusting the backstop (50) of a gutter (51).
- the maximum inclination of the gutter or “spoiler” is limited to the rear by the stop (50) which comes to the contact of the rear extremal portion of the arch (10).
- the stop (50) is considered as the moving part of the adjustment mechanism of the invention, since its position varies on the rear face the gutter (51), considered to be fixed.
- the gutter (51) comprises a light (52) vertically elongated, whereby the trough (51) can move vertically relative to the fixed point that constitutes the stop (50). More precisely, this gutter (51) moves around a horizontal axis (53) ending with a nut (54) housed in a peripheral recess (55) of the light (52).
- This axis (53) is associated with an intermediate piece (66) similar to the intermediate piece (26) of FIG. 4, also capable of sliding inside a housing (67) provided inside the lever (68).
- the yoke (69) inside which can move in rotation the lever (68), is equipped on its face opposite the gutter of a toothing (70), complementary to the toothing (71) formed on the outer face of the gutter.
- a toothing (70) complementary to the toothing (71) formed on the outer face of the gutter.
- the position of the stop is then fixed and can in no way vary.
- the invention is not limited to the examples described in detail, but covers the locking mechanisms that can equip all parts of the fixing having an adjustable position with respect to another part of the fixation.
