Claims (5)

  1. Essentially rectangular lid (1) thermoformed from plastic film, designed in particular to be put on a tub (2) provided with a flanged rim (3), with a central section (4) and a rim section (7) pointing downwards that has recesses (8) facing inwards, has an essentially continuous oblique shape and extends outwards, wherein the recesses (8) facing inwards are located exclusively in the area of the corners of the lid (1).
  2. Lid according to claim 1, wherein an internal rim section (5) extends upwards from the central section (4) and is inclined inwards slightly.
  3. Lid according to claim 2, wherein the internal rim section (5) merges into an upper rim section (6) with a relatively small radius that merges into the external, oblique rim section (7) with a radius that is large in comparison.
  4. Lid according to one of the previous claims, wherein each of the recesses (8) takes the form of continuous embossing.
  5. Lid according to claim 4 with rounded edges, wherein the embossing / recesses (8) extend across the entire area of the corners and possibly project beyond the curved rim of the lid at least slightly.
