- the most common petroleum distillate fuels are kerosene, jet fuels, diesel fuels, heating oils and heavy fuel oils.
- the heating oil or diesel fuel may be a straight atmospheric distillate, or it may contain minor amounts, e.g. up to 35 wt.%, of vacuum gas oil or cracked gas oils or of both.
- Heating oils may be made of a blend of virgin distillate, e.g. gas oil, naphtha, etc and cracked distillates, e.g. catalytic cycle shock.
- a representative specification for a diesel fuel includes a minimum flash point of 38°C and a 90% distillation point between 282 and 380°C (see ASTM Designations D-396 and D-975).
- the fuel oil may have a sulphur concentration of 0.2% by weight or less based on the weight of the fuel.
- the sulphur concentration is 0.05% by weight or less, such as 0.035% by weight or less or 0.01% by weight or less.

Claims (9)
- Composition de fuel-oil, qui comprend un fuel-oil ayant une conductivité inhérente inférieure à 10 pS/m et un additif comprenant :(a) un polymère du type polyméthacrylate, polyacrylate ou polyfumarate non préparé à partir d'un monomère ammonium quaternaire et ayant une moyenne en nombre du poids du poids moléculaire de 1000 à 10 000 000, ledit polymère du type polyacrylate, polyméthacrylate ou polyfumarate contenant un groupe amino ou amido provenant d'un monomère copolymérisé ou étant obtenu par une réaction de transestérification ou d'amidation du polymère avec un aminoalcool ou une amine, respectivement ; et soit(b) un agent améliorant la conductivité comprenant (i) une polysulfone oléfinique et (ii) une polyamine polymère consistant en le produit de réaction d'épichlorhydrine et d'une monoamine primaire aliphatique ou d'une hydrocarbylalkylènediamine N-aliphatique, ou bien le sel d'acide sulfonique de la polyamine polymère obtenue comme produit de réaction, soit(c) un agent améliorant la conductivité comprenant un copolymère, soluble dans les hydrocarbures, d'un monomère alkylvinyle et d'un monomère vinylique cationique, ledit copolymère ayant un rapport des motifs monomères alkylvinyle aux motifs monomères vinyliques cationiques de 1:1 à 10:1, le copolymère ayant une moyenne en nombre du poids moléculaire de 800 à 1 000 000.
- Composition suivant la revendication 1, comprenant en outre un antioxydant.
- Composition suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre un désactivateur de métaux.
- Composition suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le polymère tel que défini dans le paragraphe (a) de la revendication 1 a un poids moléculaire de 5000 à 1 000 000.
- Composition suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le fuel-oil est un carburéacteur.
- Composition suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le fuel-oil est un carburant diesel ou une huile de chauffe.
- Additif comprenant l'association :(a) d'un polymère du type polyméthacrylate, polyacrylate ou polyfumarate non préparé à partir d'un monomère ammonium quaternaire et ayant une moyenne en nombre du poids du poids moléculaire de 1000 à 10 000 000, ledit polymère du type polyacrylate, polyméthacrylate ou polyfumarate contenant un groupe amino ou amido provenant d'un monomère copolymérisé ou étant obtenu par une réaction de transestérification ou d'amidation du polymère avec un aminoalcool ou une amine, respectivement ; et soit(b) d'un agent améliorant la conductivité comprenant (i) une polysulfone oléfinique et (ii) une polyamine polymère consistant en le produit de réaction d'épichlorhydrine et d'une monoamine primaire aliphatique ou d'une hydrocarbylalkylènediamine N-aliphatique, ou bien le sel d'acide sulfonique de la polyamine polymère obtenue comme produit de réaction, soit(c) d'un agent améliorant la conductivité comprenant un copolymère, soluble dans les hydrocarbures, d'un monomère alkylvinyle et d'un monomère vinylique cationique, ledit copolymère ayant un rapport des motifs monomères alkylvinyle aux motifs monomères vinyliques cationiques d'environ 1:1 à 10:1, le copolymère ayant une moyenne en nombre du poids moléculaire d'environ 800 à environ 1 000 000.
- Utilisation d'un additif suivant la revendication 7, pour améliorer la conductivité d'une composition de carburant.
- Procédé pour améliorer la conductivité d'une composition de fuel-oil, comprenant un fuel-oil ayant une conductivité inhérente inférieure à 10 pS/m, procédé qui comprend l'incorporation d'un additif suivant la revendication 7 au fuel-oil.
