Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an interrupter unit of a high-voltage circuit breaker having two coaxially arranged in the longitudinal direction, a switching path forming contact pieces and extending in the longitudinal direction coaxial with the contact pieces hollow channel, in the interior during a switching operation, a quenching gas in a first, of the Switching path continues along the direction and flows along the outer circumference of the channel, the quenching gas in a direction opposite to the first direction second direction, coaxial with the channel, comprising at least partially carrying a contact piece and the flowing in the second direction quenching gas radially enclosing a support member is arranged.
Such an interrupter unit is known for example from the published patent application DE 32 11 272 A1. In the known arrangement, a part of the interrupter unit is held by a deflecting hood acting as a supporting element. The deflection hood surrounds a designed as a hollow channel rated current contact piece. An extinguishing gas produced during a switching operation in the switching path flows away from the switching path through the hollow channel. The quenching gas is deflected at the Umlenkhaube and outside the hollow channel, opposite to the flow direction of the quenching gas inside the Nennstromkontaktstückes, out of the interrupter unit passes. Such a construction has only a relatively short outflow path for the quenching gas. Furthermore, the enriched with decomposition products extinguishing gas is discharged directly in the vicinity of the switching path. The from the exhaust hood extending to the rated current contact piece webs, which carry the rated current contact piece, are located directly in the outflow of the quenching gas and increase the flow resistance of this path. With such a guide for the quenching gas cooling and rapid continuation of the quenching gas from the switching path is possible only in a limited extent.
From International Publication WO 01/33594 A1, a compressed gas circuit breaker is known, which has hood-like covers via outflow openings for the guidance of outflowing quenching gas.
German Offenlegungsschrift DE 198 23 709 discloses a design variant of a high-voltage circuit breaker in which outflowing extinguishing gas is deflected several times, the arrangement of extinguishing gas cooling devices being provided in the outflow path.
Furthermore, from FIG. 9 of US Pat. No. 4,236,053, an interrupter unit is known in which the effluent from the switching path quenching gas is initially continued from the switching path and an array of different Abströmhauben a labyrinthine channel is formed in which the quenching gas to twice about 180 ° is deflected in its flow direction. This provides a relatively long outflow path for the quenching gas within a compact space. The Abströmweg there is essentially formed by the fact that at the breaker unit to a part bearing contact pieces deflection hoods are attached. Due to the structural design of the contact pieces as mechanically supporting elements, which of the Outflow hoods are surrounded, resulting in the interior of the exhaust hoods with respect to the mechanical configuration optimized arrangements, the Abströmweg but is subject to a high flow resistance.
The present invention is based on the object, an interrupter unit of the type mentioned in such a way that while maintaining a high mechanical stability of the flow path of the extinguishing gas from the switching path to an outflow has a low flow resistance.
The object is achieved in an interrupter unit of the type mentioned in the present invention, that the support member has a first portion and a second, opposite the first portion radially expanded portion, wherein the second portion of the first portion and a contact piece is supported by the second portion and in the region of connection of the first and second sections, an outflow opening for the quenching gas directed in the first direction is formed between the two sections.
In order to achieve a fluidically improved way for the quenching gas, it is necessary to free the Abströmweg of projecting into him components. By the use of a support element which surrounds the hollow channel and has two sections, one of which is radially widened and an outflow opening is formed in the region of the abutting of the two sections, the interrupter unit is supported by an "outer envelope". Due to the design of the support element as an "outer envelope body" a space is created in the interior of the support element, which is free of components, which would be provided forcibly for mechanical support. The inner space of the support element can be freely occupied or used according to the given requirements of the interrupter unit. This also results in a more favorable design of Abströmweges for the quenching gas. By aligning the outflow opening in the first direction, ie away from the switching path, it is further ensured that the quenching gas can not flow back directly into the region of the switching path even after it has flowed out of the outflow opening, where it weakens its dielectric strength.
An advantageous embodiment may further provide that the second section is coupled to the interrupter unit in the region of a rated current contact piece.
By coupling the second section in the region of a rated current contact piece, starting from one end of the interrupter unit in the longitudinal direction, a very large portion of one end of the interrupter unit is covered by the support element. In the area of the rated current contact piece, a central mounting point can thus be formed, in which the entire contact system with nominal current contact, arcing contact, gearboxes, etc. is supported. The coupling can be designed as a rigid construction or as a movable construction. A movable construction is to be provided, for example, for a movable rated current contact piece.
Advantageously, it can further be provided that the second section is part of the current path interruptible by the interrupt unit.
To ensure sufficient mechanical stability of the second portion of the support element must be made of a suitable material, which may at least partially support the interrupter unit. Such materials are for example metals, which are also electrically conductive. In particular, in a coupling of the second portion of the support element in the region of a rated current contact piece, the electrical current via the second part is directly transported to the switching path. Additional electrical conductors, which would serve to supply the electrical current to the contact pieces of the interrupter unit, are not required. As part of the current path to be interrupted, the second section of the support element must Of course, carry the electrical potential that drives the electricity. Thus, the second section is also suitable to shield the assemblies it surrounds.
A further advantageous embodiment provides that a field control electrode is arranged on the support element, in particular on the second section.
In particular, in the end regions of the support element, there is the risk of the occurrence of high electric field strengths, since in these areas the transition to further, optionally another electrical potential having components or substances takes place. Field control electrodes can be used to control these electric fields. In this case, the support element itself may be shaped such that it forms a field control electrode.
A further advantageous embodiment provides that in the course of the flowing quenching gas in front of the outflow opening a cooling device is arranged.
In order to further increase the efficiency of the long outflow path for the quenching gas, an arrangement of a cooling device in the quenching gas stream is particularly advantageous. By the cooling device, the quenching gas is lowered in its temperature level, thereby increasing the insulation resistance of the quenching gas.
A particularly advantageous variant of a cooling device can provide that the quenching gas flows through a perforated plate.
In the following the invention will be shown with reference to an embodiment in a drawing and described in more detail below.

- figure
- a schematic structure of an interrupter unit of a high-voltage circuit breaker.
The figure shows an
The
At the end of the
At the switching path facing ends of the
In a turn-off movement of the movable
In an analogous manner, the steering of the extinguishing gas flowing in the region of the second support element 6 takes place. A portion of the extinguishing gas generated in the switching path is continued by the
The arrows shown in the figure with broken lines symbolize the path of the quenching gas from the switching path to the
Since the figure is a schematic representation, the discharge path of the extinguishing gas is only shown in principle. In particular, the separation of the quenching gas streams before and after passing through the Strömungsumlenkeinrichtungen can also be done by other components. Furthermore, it is possible to minimize the flow resistance by the breaking or rounding of body edges.
