  • the passage 18 in the side wall of the sleeve 13 is uncovered by the piston rod so that ink can then flow through the aperture 18 into the probe and along its length into the bag 3 under the pressure of the gas supply 6.
  • the gas supply therefore provides the energy to both operate the actuator 8 and to inject ink through the probe 9 into the bag 3, and the design of the actuator is such as to separate the actuation and ink injection operations into successive controlled steps.
  • a burst disc (not shown) is provided at the outlet of the ink reservoir 7, and is intact before the dispensing system 4 is triggered.
  • a pyrotechnic device is provided to connect the gas supply 6 to the reservoir 7 when required. This causes the pressure in the reservoir to rise to a point where it ruptures the burst disc, thereby allowing the ink to escape. Before it is burst, the burst disc serves to stop ink leaking from the reservoir.
  • the controller 5 is employed to trigger the dispensing system 4 as necessary.
  • the controller 5 monitors the security status of one or more of the packages 3 and triggers the system 4 to dispense ink when security is compromised.

Claims (16)

  1. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem für den Schutz von Gegenständen (2) in einem abgeschlossenen Gehäuse (3), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem (4) eine Abgabevorrichtung (9) aufweist, die an einem Stellelement (8) befestigt ist, das zum Bewegen der Abgabevorrichtung von einer Position, in welcher die Abgabevorrichtung nicht in das Gehäuse eindringt, zu einer Position, in welcher die Abgabevorrichtung in das Gehäuse eindringt, falls es erwünscht ist, ein Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel zuzuführen und ein Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel in das Gehäuse abzugeben, um so die Gegenstände unbrauchbar zu machen, ausgebildet ist.
  2. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abgabevorrichtung (9) hohl ist, um das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel durch die Vorrichtung strömen zu lassen, um so die Gegenstände (2) unbrauchbar zu machen.
  3. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Stellelement (8) durch ein unter Druck gesetztes Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel betätigt wird, dass die Abgabevorrichtung (9) hohl ist, und dass das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel über die Abgabevorrichtung geliefert wird, nachdem das Stellelement die Abgabevorrichtung zu einer Betriebsposition bewegt hat.
  4. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Ende der Abgabevorrichtung (9) so geschärft ist, dass es ein Eindringen in das abgeschlossene Gehäuse (3) erleichtert.
  5. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel in einem Reservoir (7) gespeichert ist.
  6. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Reservoir (7), um das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel abzugeben, unter Druck gesetzt wird, um so das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel aus dem Reservoir zu drücken.
  7. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Reservoir (7) durch Verbinden einer Zuleitung von Druckgas (6) mit dem Reservoir unter Druck gesetzt wird.
  8. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem (4) ferner eine Steuerung (5) enthält, welche einen Sicherheitszustand des abgeschlossenen Gehäuses (3) überwacht und, falls die Sicherheit gefährdet ist, das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel abgibt, um so die Gegenstände (2) unbrauchbar zu machen.
  9. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Abgabesystem (4) ferner wenigstens eine zusätzliche Abgabevorrichtung (9) aufweist, die zum Eindringen in wenigstens ein weiteres abgeschlossenes Gehäuse (3) mit weiteren Gegenständen (2) und zum Abgeben des Unbrauchbarmachungsmittels, um so die weiteren Gegenstände unbrauchbar zu machen, ausgebildet ist.
  10. Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesystem für den Schutz von Gegenständen (2) in mehreren abgeschlossenen Gehäusen (3), gekennzeichnet durch das Aufweisen mehrerer Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabesysteme (4) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9.
  11. Lagerbehälter (1), gekennzeichnet durch das Aufweisen einer Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel-Abgabevorrichtung (4) nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche.
  12. Lagerbehälter nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lagerbehälter (1) eine Geldkassette ist.
  13. Lagerbehälter nach Anspruch 11 oder 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lagerbehälter (1) zum Lagern und/oder Transportieren der Gegenstände (2) verwendet wird.
  14. Verfahren zum Schützen von Gegenständen (2) in einem abgeschlossenen Gehäuse (3) gekennzeichnet durch die Schritte:
    Empfangen einer Anzeige, dass eine Sicherheit des abgeschlossenen Gehäuses gefährdet worden ist;
    Bewegen einer an einem Stellelement (8) befestigten Abgabevorrichtung von einer Position, wo sie nicht in das Gehäuse eindringt, zu einer Position, wo sie in das Gehäuse eindringt; und
    Abgeben eines Unbrauchbarmachungsmittels über die Abgabevorrichtung, um so die Gegenstände unbrauchbar zu machen.
  15. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abgabevorrichtung (9) hohl ist und dass, wenn die Sicherheit gefährdet ist, das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel in das Stellelement (8), welches die Abgabevorrichtung bewegt, gedrückt wird, sodass die Vorrichtung in das Gehäuse (3) eindringt und das Unbrauchbarmachungsmittel von dem Stellelement durch eine Öffnung (18) in einer Wand (13) des Stellelements und durch die Abgabevorrichtung strömt, um so die Gegenstände (2) unbrauchbar zu machen.
  16. Verfahren nach Anspruch 14 oder 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anzeige von einer Steuerung (5) empfangen wird, welche die Sicherheit des abgeschlossenen Gehäuses (3) mittels Sensoren um das Gehäuse und/oder an einem das Gehäuse einschließenden Behälter überwacht und die Anzeige erzeugt, wenn die Sensoren anzeigen, dass die Sicherheit gefährdet ist.
