Description

The present invention relates to a cup-like upwardly open container made of cardboard, paper or the like, in particular for receiving and offering edibles, wherein the container is made of a one-piece blank and has a bounded by bending lines bottom surface with integral over the bending lines side surfaces , wherein the side surfaces are each formed of side wall bases and side wall tops, which are each separated by bending lines and the bending lines are arranged at the same distance from the bottom surface.

Such shell-like containers are known for example from DE 87 11 925 U and US-A-3,038,463. Corresponding containers and cartons are used in particular for the storage of foods such as confectionery. Furthermore, DE 201 09 983.7 describes a box for holding and offering edibles with a box base and a lid which can be pushed up thereon, the side walls of the box lower part being provided with enlarging the filling and removal opening with inwardly pointing, triangular folding tongues. The individual side walls consist of side wall bases and side wall tops, which are separated by running parallel to the floor bending lines. The lower and upper parts of the side walls are connected together by attached thereto adhesive tabs.

A disadvantage of this known shell-like container, however, that both the lower and upper parts of the side walls are glued together. As a result, on the one hand, the manufacture of such containers is made more difficult since in this case additional adhesive dots have to be applied by machine. In addition, will limited by the bonding of the maximum diameter of the filling and removal opening. The same applies to the minimum opening diameter, in which usually a cover element is placed on the shell-like container.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a generic cup-like container, which is easy to manufacture and easy to fill and closed in the folded state.

To solve these objects is a generic cup-like container according to the features of claim 1.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen sind in den Unteransprüchen beschrieben.Advantageous embodiments are described in the subclaims.

An inventive shell-like, upwardly open container has with a bottom surface on bending lines integrally connected side surfaces, wherein the side surfaces are each formed of side wall bases and side wall tops, which are separated from each other by bending lines. The bending lines are arranged in the same distance from the bottom surface. In this case, the side wall upper parts each have a connecting line integrally connected via a bending line, such that the connecting straps lie displaceably in a folded, the finished container performing state of the container on the inwardly directed towards the bottom part surface of the adjacent side wall shell, wherein the side wall bases are firmly connected to each other via attached adhesive tabs. In addition, the container can be closed with a lid. By the formation of connecting straps, which in each case displaceably, that is not fixed, bear against the surface of the adjacent side wall upper part directed inwards in the direction of the bottom part, the diameters of the openings formed by the side wall tops can be advantageously varied. Here are the side wall tops and the Connecting tabs usually include a first and second opening of the container having a first and a second diameter, wherein the second diameter is greater than the first and the first diameter for facilitated placement of a lid member and the second diameter for enlarging a filling and removal opening. Such a container according to the invention is also easy to produce, since no bonds in the region of the side wall tops are necessary.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the length of the connecting straps corresponds in each case to at least 50% of the length of the bending line formed between the side wall lower part and the side wall upper part. As a result, very large second diameter, that is diameter for enlarging the filling and removal opening, possible.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the connecting strap consists of a lower strap region and an upper strap region as well as a strap region connecting the lower and upper strap regions. In this case, the lower tab region may be formed longer than the upper tab region. But it is also possible that the lower tab portion is formed shorter than the upper tab portion. In a further embodiment, the lower strap region and the upper strap region are of equal length. In addition, it is possible that the connection area is rounded, pointed or rectangular. Furthermore, it is possible that the upper and / or the lower tab region has a rounding. Due to the large number of design possibilities of the connection tab, it is advantageously possible to adapt the geometry of the filling and removal opening according to the second diameter of the respective requirements to the appearance or to the technical requirements when filling or removing food.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lower tab region of the bending line, which connects the side wall lower part and the side wall upper part together, spaced. By a Such measure significantly increases the mobility of the connecting strap.

A carton according to the invention, in particular for receiving and offering edibles, consists of a cup-shaped container as described above and a lid which can be placed on the container.

Further details, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from an embodiment shown in the figure.

The figure shows a schematic representation of a one-piece blank for a dish-like container 10. The shell-like container 10 has a limited by bending lines 14 bottom surface 12 with integrally over the bending lines 14 side surfaces 16.

In the illustrated embodiment, the bottom surface 12 is square. But it is also possible to form the bottom surface rectangular or as a regular or irregular polygon. The container 10 is usually made of cardboard. But it is also possible to produce the container 10 made of paper or cardboard comparable materials. Also plastic materials are conceivable. It is also possible that the material may be provided with a moisture and heat resistant coating.

It can be seen that the side surfaces 16 are each formed of side wall bases 18 and side wall tops 20, which are separated from each other by bending lines 28. In the illustrated embodiment, the bending lines 28 are arranged in the same distance from the bottom surface 12. Optionally, however, this distance can be varied. Furthermore, it can be seen that the side wall tops 20 in each case have a connecting strap integrally connected via a bending line 30, such that the connecting straps 22 are displaceable in a folded state of the container 10 on the surface of the adjacent side wall upper part 20 directed inwards in the direction of the bottom part 12 issue. On the known fixation of such connection tabs on the adjacent side wall shell is deliberately omitted. This makes it possible for the side wall shells 20 and the connection tabs 22 to form first and second openings of the container 12 having first and second diameters. The second diameter is larger than the first one. The first diameter serves for facilitated placement of a cover element and the second diameter for enlarging a filling and removal opening (not shown).

It can be seen that the length of the connecting strap 22 makes up over 50% of the length of the bending line 28. As a result, a relatively large second opening having a second diameter can be formed to form the filling and removal opening. Furthermore, it can be seen that the connecting strap 22 consists of a lower strap region 32 and an upper strap region 34. A strap region 36 connecting the lower and upper strap regions 32, 34 is rounded in the exemplary embodiment shown. But it is also possible that the connecting portion 36 is formed tapered or rectangular. Furthermore, it can be seen that the lower tab portion 32 is formed longer than the upper tab portion 34. But it is also possible that the lower tab portion 32 is shorter than the upper tab portion 34 or that the two tab portions 32, 34 are formed of equal length. In the exemplary embodiment, the upper tab region 34 has a curve which forms a common edge when the side wall tops 20 are bent away from the bottom part 12 with the corresponding upper edge of the side wall upper part 20 against which they rest. But it is also possible that the lower or the upper and the lower tab portion 32, 34 have a rounding. Finally, the figure shows an embodiment in which the lower tab portion 32 is formed spaced from the bending line 28. On the side wall bases 18 integrally connected adhesive tabs 24 are formed via bending lines 26. About these adhesive tabs 24, the individual side wall bases 18 are firmly connected.
