Abstract

Liquid wax passes through an inlet valve (1) leading to a line (2) connected to a pressure regulator (3). The wax then passes through a flow measurement device (4) to a pre-atomization system (14) mixing liquid wax with air under pressure. The air enters via an inlet valve (6) leading to a line (5) connected to filters (7,8), a pressure measurement device (9) and a control valve system (22) with three 5/2-way valves (15,17,21) and two pressure regulators (16,18). The size of the droplets of wax produced by the pre-atomization system may be controlled. The wax mist may be fed through a valve (20), which admits extra air (11), to the spray lance (19).
