Description

The invention relates a method for releasing a clip binding for upholstered furniture.

Staples are a widely used fastener in upholstered furniture production, to upholstery fabrics on a wooden furniture upholstery or To fasten wood materials. Similarly, cover or molded parts made of cardboard or plastic attached to a frame. As a rule, such Staple connections linear, i. the braces are in line with usually introduced a small distance from each other. Generally, clamp connections mounted in the not directly visible area, for example by they are covered by upholstery fabric.

In addition, textile straps and metal straps or plastic flaps of flat springs on the frames of upholstered furniture attached.

However, such a staple connection with simple means is not or very difficult to solve. However, the release of the clamp connection is then necessary if the materials making up the upholstered furniture pass through Recycling should be recycled. This assumes, however, that the Upholstered furniture can be easily broken down into its basic components.

Allerdings ist es noch immer erforderlich, jede Klammer einzeln manuell zu entfernen, was einer großtechnischen Anwendung dieser Vorrichtung beim Recycling von Polstermöbeln entgegensteht.DE 27 07 466 discloses a device for removing staples, the be used for attaching the cover fabric of upholstered furniture. there is provided with a tip lever arm, wherein with the Tip carrying end of the lever arm rotatable about a first pivot point Pliers shoe is connected, which consists of two, the top and the front end the jaw enclosing the lever arm is made, and the Zangenbakken at its tip opposite end a second pivot point exhibit. With the help of this device clamp connections should be easily solved can be. However, it is still required every parenthesis individually manually remove what a large-scale application of this Device contrary to the recycling of upholstered furniture.

Other ways than disassembling the furniture into their components can apply equally applied. They usually can not be shredded because the textile tapes and upholstery wrap around the shredder shafts and can stop due to their high tensile strength. Also a thermal utilization of upholstered furniture, which only from complete Sharing is possible because of the different materials that make up the Upholstered furniture exist, difficult to achieve. Special problems prepare the materials used for upholstery.

Due to the lack of possibility to easily and quickly in his upholstered furniture Disassembling components, a recycling of such furniture is previously economical not useful. It is also not common in practice.

US 3 652 373 A discloses a clip connection for Upholstered furniture, in which an upper, for example the upholstery, on a sub-material, for example the frame material, with a variety of gorges is finished, being between the upper and the Staple back a band is arranged.

The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art.

Zweckmäßige Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Merkmalen der Ansprüche 2 bis 4.This object is solved by the features of claim 1. expedient Embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the features of the claims 2 to 4.

According to the invention, a method for releasing a clip connection for upholstered furniture provided, in which an upper material, for example, the fabric, on one Sub-material, such as the frame material, with a variety of Clamps is attached, being between the upper and the staple back a band is arranged.

The band is preferably 3 to 6 mm wide. Its length corresponds essentially the length of the clamp connection. At one end of the clamp connection should a part of the band survive freely over the top and bottom material, so as to allow easy release of the clamp connection by The removal of the tape is started at this point of the tape.

The tape can be made of different materials such as textile Be made of materials or plastic materials. Preferably, it's so solid that when removing the tape from the upper, the legs of the Clamps are completely pulled out of the upper and lower material, the staples remain in the band. Become a band used less solid (flexible) material, this must be so strong that at least each one leg of each clip when removing the tape the upper and lower material is pulled out. Accordingly, the strength should The band should be so high that they have a staple extraction force of at least 300 N resists tearing the tape while peeling off to prevent.

A band of flexible material is then conveniently used when staple connections are to be made with tight radii.

The outer material may, apart from the above-mentioned reference materials, also to upholstery fabrics or cardboard cover or molded parts or plastic, which on a lower material, in particular the frame material, to be fastened by a clamp connection. The submaterial, which usually forms the frame of the piece of furniture is preferably made of wood or wood-like materials such as wood composites.

A clip connection according to the preamble of claim 1 offers the advantages of the conventional clip connection, namely high strength and durability of the compound and ease of manufacture of this compound. In addition, it has the significant advantage that the in itself solid and durable connection can be easily solved by pulling the tape which makes it possible to easily upholstered furniture in their individual components, namely the upper and the lower material, decomposed can be. The individual materials can be separated from the recycling be fed so that an economically meaningful recycling of Upholstered furniture is possible.

  • (i) Aufbringen des Obermaterials auf das Untermaterial;
  • The clip connection can be made by a method comprising the steps of:
  • (i) applying the upper to the lower material;
  • (ii) applying the tape in the area of the staple connection to be made to the upper and
  • (iii) attaching staples longitudinally with respect to the band, wherein the legs of the staples penetrate the band and the upper and penetrate into the lower material and the back of the staples rests on the band.
Appropriately, while the tape is applied so that a part of the Bandes over the upper and lower material protrudes freely, so easy release to allow the staple connection by pulling off the band started at this point of the tape.

Preferably, the method using a pneumatic stapler carried out, in which device a Bandzuführ- and -schneideeinheit is integrated, so that the tape in register when driving the clip through Tape and upper positioned in the lower material on the upper becomes.

The staple connection can be made by peeling off the band from the upper the brackets are either completely removed from the upper and sub-material or at least one leg of each Clamp is pulled out of the upper and lower material.

The removal of the tape expediently begins at the freely projecting End and should preferably be contrary to the original processing line respectively. Under "original processing line" is in this context understood the direction with which the clamp connection through successive wrapping of the staples was made.

The removal of the tape can be done by machine. This is the free projecting End clamped to a take-up unit. The reel unit can order rotate an axis parallel to the Ktammerverbindung by a translational movement to be led. The tape is wound on the take-up unit. The reeling unit can be driven electrically.

If a fixed band is used, the brackets will be out of the bottom and bottom Pulled out upper, while hanging on the tape. Becomes a used flexible tape is achieved by tightening the tape that at least one leg of each clip of the clip connection from the bottom and upper material is pulled out, whereby the staple connection However, as far as it is resolved, following the removal of the tape and sub-material can be easily separated from each other. In the latter Fall tears the tape in the area of the bracket. The strength of the tape However, it must always be so high that the tape does not tear completely.
