Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur visuellen Inspektion eines in einem Flugzeug angeordneten Rauchdetektors, der vorzugsweise in dem Abluftkanal einer Flugzeugtoilette Anwendung findet, wobei der Rauchdetektor durch Hindernisse, wie insbesondere Abdeckungen, Verklebungen oder dergleichen, an seiner Eintrittsöffnung oder an einem vorgesehenen Schutzgitter in seiner Funktion eingeschränkt bzw. gehindert wird.The invention relates to a device for the visual inspection of a smoke detector arranged in an aircraft, which preferably finds application in the exhaust duct of an aircraft toilet, the smoke detector by obstacles, in particular covers, adhesives or the like, at its inlet opening or on a protective grille provided in its function restricted or prevented.
Derzeit ist es in allen Flugzeugen, die mit Rauchwarneinrichtungen ausgerüstet sein müssen, notwendig, in den zugänglichen Bereichen wie beispielsweise Toiletten, Mannschaftsruheräumen oder dergleichen regelmäßig visuelle Inspektionen der Rauchsensoren durch die Flugzeugbesatzung durchführen zu lassen. Dieses erfolgt bei Langstreckenflügen etwa alle 15 Minuten und bedeutet, dass eine Überprüfung dahin erfolgt, ob die Rauchdetektoren oder zugeordnete Lüftungszugänge verklebt bzw. abgedeckt sind. Es wird somit bisher durch eine reine visuelle Kontrolle festgestellt, ob Rauchdetektoren im Flugzeug durch vorhandene Hindernisse abgedeckt bzw. zugestellt sind und somit lediglich eine eingeschränkte oder gar keine Funktion von Rauchmeldern gegeben ist. Beispielsweise wird ein Hindernis an dem, dem Rauchdetektor 7 vorgelagerten Schutzgitter 6 durch den vor der Eintrittsöffnung 7a des Rauchdetektors 7 angeordneten Luftdrucksensor 2 und den im überwachten Raum befindlichen Luftdrucksensor 1 ermittelt. Ein derartiges Hindernis kann auch durch den im Rauchdetektor 7 angeordneten Luftdrucksensor 3 und den im überwachten Raum 4 befindlichen Luftdrucksensor 1 ermittelt werden. Hingegen wird ein die Eintrittsöffnung 7a des Rauchdetektors 7 blockierendes Hindernis durch den im überwachten Raum 4 angeordneten Luftdrucksensor 3 und den vor Eintrittsöffnung 7a des Rauchdetektors 7 angeordneten Luftdrucksensor 2 ermittelt.In each case two of the

Beiden Öffnungen ist ein Rohr vorgeschaltet, und zwar der Raucheintrittsöffnung 7a das Rohr 10 und der Rauchaustrittsöffnung 7b das Rohr 11. Während es sich bei dem Rohr 11 um ein normales Rauchaustrittsrohr mit zwei stirnseitigen Öffnungen handelt, ist das Rohr 10 zusätzlich mit einer Vielzahl von Löchern in seiner Rohrwand versehen, durch welche auch ein Raucheintritt in das Rohr quer zu seiner Rohrwand ermöglicht wird. Durch ein, die Rohre 10 und 11 enthaltendes Rohrsystem wird dem Rauchdetektor 7 über seine Raucheintrittsöffnung 7a ein Rauchumfang zugeführt, der gegenüber dem aus Fig. 1 ersichtlichen Rauchdetektor 7 wesentlich erhöht ist. - Device according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, characterized in that an obstacle blocking the inlet opening (7a) of the smoke detector (7) is determined by means of the air pressure sensor (3) disposed in the monitored area (4) and by means of the air pressure sensor (2) disposed in front of the inlet opening (7a) of the smoke detector (7).
