It is assumed that the tire is already inflated and the pressure keeps the valve 11 closed by applying the ball 18 constantly against the seat 17 to isolate the chamber 7a. On the other hand, the spring 15 maintains the bead 14 constantly in abutment against the half-body 4 and thus closes the chamber 7b.

- the chamber 7a is placed under vacuum in order to act antagonistically to the spring 15 and bring the membrane 6 back to the position shown.
- the bead 14 is therefore no longer in abutment against the half-body 4 and the communication is established between the bore 10 and the exhaust ports 21 to rapidly evacuate the fluid under pressure from the tire.

- the solenoid valve 44 is in relation to a source of compressed air 47 making it possible to supply the wheel 33 with compressed air.
- the solenoid valve 45 is in relation to a source 48 of vacuuming for controlling the valve 1 in vacuum.
- the solenoid valve 46 is in relation to a mechanism 49 for throttling the pipeline controlled by a coil 50 to control a variable air flow as a function of the number of valves 43 piloted towards the wheels 33.
- Rapid deflation is ensured by controlling the opening of the solenoid valve 45 which by the vacuum applied in the chamber 7a compresses the spring 15 and places the tire in communication with the chamber 7b and the exhaust ports 21 with the external environment.
- the installation according to the invention also allows easy control of the inflation pressure using a pressure gauge 51 connected to the pipe 52 connecting the solenoid valves 43 and 46.
- the ball 18 is lifted off as explained above and the solenoid valve 43 open and solenoid valve 46 closed and after stabilization of the pressure the measurement is read. After reading, the solenoid valve 43 is opened to close the valve 1 by causing the movement of the ball and its application against the seat.
