- Printing apparatus (10) according to Claim 1 or 2, the displacement drive of which comprises a threaded spindle (80) which is driven by a knife motor (78) and is in engagement with a spindle nut (82) which is arranged on the upper knife (76).
- Printing apparatus (10) according to one of the preceding claims, in which a locking journal (84) is arranged on the chassis upper part (36), a pivotable latching lever (90) which is loaded into a locking position with the force of a locking spring (94) is arranged on the chassis lower part (34), and a claw (86) is machined into a flank of the latching lever (90), the claw (86) and the locking journal (84) being configured and oriented with respect to one another in such a way that a prestress of the upper knife (76) with respect to the lower knife (74) is ensured when the housing (12) is closed.
