Claims (7)

  1. Door lock mechanism for electric appliances, more especially for washing machines, the said door lock mechanism having a block (2) secured to the door, a spring-loaded rotatable element (4), which, in a first rotational position, holds the block (2) in the closed position of the door and in a second rotational position, releases the block (2) for opening the door, a pivotable pawl (6), by means of which the rotatable element (4) is lockable in the first rotational position, wherein the rotatable element (4) is mounted so as to be rotatable on a pivotable lever (5), which is pivotable together with the rotatable element (4) in opposition to a spring force (12) in such a manner that the pawl (6) is displaced relative to the rotatable element (4) and releases the said rotatable element for a rotation into the second rotational position, and a blocking device with means with which the pivotal movement of the pawl is preventable, characterised in that the blocking device is in the form of a blocking housing (29) that is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the pawl (6), at least one blocking lug (33, 38, 43) being integrally moulded on the inside walls of the said blocking housing, and in that, in this manner, it is possible to prevent, along with the pivotal movement of the pawl (6), also the pivotal movement of the lever (5), wherein the blocking device is displaceable from a neutral position (I), in which it releases the lever (5) and the pawl (6), into a first locking position (II), in which it prevents the pivotal movement of the lever (5) and allows the pivotal movement of the pawl (6), and into a second locking position (III), in which it prevents the pivotal movement of the lever (5) and of the pawl (6).
  2. Door lock mechanism according to claim 1, characterised in that the locking device is realised in such a manner that, when it is moving into an open position (IV), it pivots the pawl (6) in such a manner that it is displaced relative to the rotatable element (4) and releases the said rotatable element for a rotation into the second rotational position.
  3. Door lock mechanism according to at least one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the pawl (6) and its bearing arrangement and/or the rotatable element (4) are realised in such a manner that in the position which they assume when the rotatable element (4) is in the second rotational position, they block the movement of the blocking device from the neutral position (I) into another position (II - IV).
  4. Door lock mechanism according to claim 3, characterised in that a locking projection (17) is integrally moulded on the rotatable element (4), the said locking projection blocking the movement of the blocking device from the neutral position (I) into another position (II - IV) when the rotatable element (4) is in the second rotational position.
  5. Door lock mechanism according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterised by a piezomotor (39) for displacing the blocking device.
  6. Door lock mechanism according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterised by a first sensor device for recognising the position of the blocking device.
  7. Door lock mechanism according to at least one of claims 1 to 6, characterised by a trigger pin (20), which is mounted so as to be displaceable in the direction of the pawl (6) and by means of which the pawl (6) is transferable into a position in which it releases a rotation of the rotatable element (4) into the second rotational position.
